If the Union is not in agreement with <br />"" the rate of pay for the job, it can file a grievance at Step 3 <br />? of the Grievance Procedure within thirty (30) days following the <br />? <br />termination of discussions concerning the rate of pay. If the <br />+?• <br />grievance is arbitrated, the arbitrator shall have the authority <br />,,.r to recoMmend the proper rate of pay for the job or he shall <br />am recommend placing the job tiaithin the rate of pay for that class- <br />ification. An?7 decision of the arbitrator shall be submitted to <br />? <br />the Council of the Citv of North Olmsted. The Council shall have <br />thirty (30) days to review said decision within which time they <br />? <br />may, by a tko-thirds vote (or 5 votes) of all members of Council, <br />? reject the arbitrator's recommendation. If the Council fails to <br />reject the recommendation by the reQuired vote, then the <br />arbitrator's recommendation shall become final and binding and <br />the rate of Pay shall be retroactive to the commencement of <br />? <br />discussions between the Union and the City in accordance with <br />•? this paragraph. Any rate and classification agreed to by the City <br />and the Union or recommended as provided herein by an arbitrator <br />? <br />and not rejected by Council shall become part of the wage schedule <br />ow <br />to this D4emorandum of Understanding.
