Section 19.03. After the leave of absence specified in Section 19.01 <br />and 19.02 has terminated, the employee shall report to the General Iianager <br />for work. If the employee fails to do so, the employee shall be terminated. <br />This section shall not. affect the application of the Worker's Compensation <br />statute. <br />Section 19.04. A`full-time employee shall be granted time off with <br />pay (not to be deducted from the employee's sick leave) for the purpose <br />of attending the funeral of a member of the employee's family. Each <br />full-time employee shall be entitled to three (3) work days off, if <br />necessary, for attending local funeral services of members of his <br />immediate family, or up to five (5) work days off, if necessary, for <br />the out-of-state funeral of a member of the immediate family. Immediate <br />family, for purposes of this section is defined as spouse, son, daughter, <br />brother, sister, parent or grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, <br />son-in-law, daughter-in-law, step-father, step-mother, step-sister, <br />step-brother, step-son and step-daughter. The Employer reserves the <br />right to request proof or certification, from the employee prior to <br />payment of the days off as described in this section. <br />ARTICLE XX <br />JURY DUTY <br />Section 20.01. Any employee who is called for jury duty, on an <br />assigned work day, either for Federal, County or Municipal, shall be paid <br />his regular rate. Time spent on jury duty shall be included when <br />calculating the amount of completed service of an employee. Jury duty <br />will not be computed into overtime. <br />Section 20.02. Employee's will sign over to the Employer all <br />compensation received for said jury duty, which covers scheduled work days, <br />prior to receiving credit or payment in accordance with Section 20.01. <br />ARTICLE XXI <br />MILITARY TRAINING DUTY PAY <br />Section 21.01. F!hile on leave of absence from their respective <br />duties with the City because of field training or active duty in the <br />military service, employees who are members of the Ohio National <br />Guard, Ohio State Guard, Ohio State Naval P~Iiiitia or members of <br />other reserve components of the Armed Forces of the United States <br />shall be entitled to :Military Training Duty Fay. <br />Section 21.02. Military Training Duty pay shall consist of the <br />difference between the employee's City pay and his military salary <br />for the leave of absence period. The above-described employees <br />shall be entitled to such pay if their military salary during the <br />leave of absence period is less than their City pay would have been <br />for such period. In determining an employee's military pay, <br />allowance for travel, food or housing shall not be considered, <br />but other compensation or allowance of whatever nature, including <br />longevity pay, shall be considered. <br />Section 21.03.
