Duty Pay shall submit a copy of his active duty orders along with a <br />statement of his military salary on a form to be provided by the <br />military office of Finance. Such employee shall be placed on official <br />leave with pay pending receipt of his statement of military salary as a <br />basis for computation of his Military Training Duty Pay for the period <br />of his leave of absence. Adjustments to pay shall be made in the pay <br />period following the employee's submittal of all above required <br />documents. Military Training Duty Pay shall be paid for a maximum <br />of thirty-one (31) calender days annually. <br />ARTICLE XXII <br />CLOTHING/CLEANING ALLOWANCE <br />Section 22.01. Clothing/Cleaning Allowance: <br />Effective January 1, 1990 the Employer will pay $325.00; <br />Effective January 1, 1991 the Employer will pay $300.00 Annually. <br />To full-time employees in the classification of bus operator and <br />dispatcher. One-half (1/2) of the clothing/cleaning allowance will be paid <br />in the month of January and one-half (1/2) in the month of July. Employees <br />receiving a clothing/cleaning allowance will be subject to the uniform dress <br />code regulations published by the Employer. <br />Section 22.02. Effective January 1, 1990 the Employer shall furnish <br />a clean uniform to full-time mechanics, material handlers, equipment servicers, <br />~ and hostlers on the basis of four (4) times per work week. <br />{ ARTICLE XXIII <br />VACATION <br />Section 23.01. Vacation time is earned based upon time worked <br />in the current year. It will normally be taken on or after January 1st <br />of the following year. Employees must have completed twelve months <br />of full-time employment prior to being eligible for any vacation time. <br />Section 23.02. All full-time employees of the Transit Department <br />shall earn vacation time as follows, effective January 1, 1990: <br />Length of Service: Vacation Allowance: <br />(a) One full year and less than five Two (2) weeks <br /> full years by January 1 <br />(b) Five full years and less then Thre e (3) weeks <br /> ten full years by January 1 <br />(c) Ten full years and less than Four (4) '.leeks <br /> fifteen full years by January 2 <br />(d) Fifteen full years and less than Five (5) weeks <br /> twenty-five full years by January 1 <br />(e) Twenty-five full years and over by Six (6) weeks <br /> January 1 <br />Section 23.03. Any employee who resigns without giving at least <br />ten (10) working days written notice to the Transit Department <br />shall forfeit any unused vacation and holidays, or pay in lieu therof. <br />15 <br />
