ARTICLE 29 - WAGES <br />Section 1. All clerical and technical employees within the <br />bargaining unit shall receive wage increases in accordance with <br />Appendix A. <br />Section 2. The City shall compute overtime separately from <br />straight time and shall show the overtime and straight time <br />separately on the employee's pay stub. Additionally, the City <br />shall compute and show on the employee's pay. stub the accrued <br />sick leave and vacation time. Paychecks will normally be <br />available on Friday at noon for employees who are not scheduled <br />to work Friday or have completed their work at that time, and at <br />the end of the day shift for other employees. Paychecks for <br />employees of the Police Department and Recreation Department <br />ending their scheduled week at 8:30 A.M. on Friday will be <br />available at 8:30 A.M. <br />Section 3. In the event of a shortage of an employee <br />paycheck that exceeds $25.00, such shortage shall be paid within <br />forty-eight (48) working hours after notification of shortage is <br />made to the supervisor. <br />ARTICLE 30 - PREMIUM PAY <br />Section 1. Effective January 1, 1987, the night shift <br />premium for the Police Department clerks and the Recreation <br />Department Maintenance Personnel shall be twenty ($.20) cents per <br />hour. <br />- 30 - <br />
