other than provided by this Grievance Procedure, shall <br />automatically have waived all remedies provided by this Grievance <br />g. The Grievance Procedure established in this Agreement for <br />the determination of grievances as between the Employer and the <br />employee shall not be available for matters concerning discipline, <br />those matters being subject solely to the jurisdiction of the <br />North Olmsted Civil Service Commission pursuant to law. <br />h. The time. provisions herein are considered to be of the <br />essence., and any grievance not filed within the specified time <br />limits shall be void. <br />i. This procedure shall not be used for the purpose of <br />changing, amending, modifying or altering any of the provisions of <br />this Agreement. <br />All grievances are administered according to the following <br />Grievance Procedure: <br />Step 1~ <br />•, <br />.An employee who may. have a grievance shall notify the <br />immediate supervisor of such grievance, in writing, within five <br />(5) days 'of the occurrence of the facts giving rise to the same. <br />The Supervisor shall schedule an informal meeting with the <br />employee within five (5) days of the date of filing the grievance <br />by~the employee, for the purpose of discussing the dispute and <br />resolving the same, informally. The Supervisor shall verbally <br />~. <br />report the determination resultant from such informal meeting `to <br />the employee within five (5) days thereafter. <br />- 18 - <br />
