. . . , ?. <br />• ?, <br />? <br />? <br />investigating or disciplining an employee <br />for violation of a rule of conduct. <br />C. Representation; Class. A grievance that affects <br />all employees, or all employees of one rank or grade, or <br />concerns interpretation and/or application of the terms of this <br />procedure shall be initially submitted to the elected officers <br />within the North Olmsted Police Department Negotiating <br />Committee. <br />1. If the grievance is unresolved by the <br />Negotiating Committee all relevant <br />information, including the written grievance <br />and response, may be submitted by the <br />Negotiating Committee to the Chief of Police <br />within ten (10) working days of the Chairman <br />of the Negotiating Committee. <br />2. If the grievance is unresolved by the <br />Chief of Police, the Negotiating Committee <br />may, within ten (10) working days of receipt <br />of the Chief's response, appeal the <br />grievance to the Safety Director. The <br />Negotiatinq Committee shall forward all <br />relevant information, including the written <br />grievance and response. <br />3. If the grievance is unresolved by the <br />Safety Director, the Negotiating Committee <br />may, within ten (10) working days of receipt <br />of the Safety Director's response, appeal <br />the grievance to the Mayor, submitting all <br />-18-
