The aggrieved employee shall meet with <br />his immediate supervisor within the <br />prescribed time limits, and orally discuss <br />the grievance. The immediate supervisor <br />shall make a decision and orally communicate <br />this decision to the aggrieved employee <br />within seven (7) working days from the <br />initial presentation of the grievance. <br />Every effort shall be made by the employee <br />and the immediate supervisor to resolve the <br />grievance at this level. <br />2. If the grievance is not resolved at <br />Step 1, the aqgrieved employee shall submit <br />a written grievance to the employee's <br />immediate supervisor within seven (7) <br />working days following the supervisor's oral <br />response. The written grievance at this <br />step, and all steps t'hereafter, shall <br />contain the following information: <br />(a) a statement of the grievance; <br />(b) the facts upon which it is based; <br />(c) the remedy or adjustment sought; and <br />(d) the signature of the aggrieved employee. <br />The immediate supervisor shall respond in <br />writing to this grievance within seven (7) <br />-20-
