<br />y <br />? , • ' <br />? <br />? <br />911.02 ORGANIZATION. <br />..., <br />Guidelines and standarcis required by Section 911.01 are embodied <br />in this Chapter; Chapter 915, User Charge System; Chapter 917, Incius- <br />trial Pretreatment; and Chapter 919, Sewer Construction. <br />911.03 DEFINITIONS. <br />The following definitions shall apply to Chapter 911, Sewers <br />Generally; Chapter 915, User Charge System; Chapter 917, Industrial <br />Pretreatment; and Chapter 919, Sewer Construction. <br />(1) "Act" is the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, also known <br />as the Clean Water Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251, et. seq. <br />(2) "Applicable pretreatment standard" is any pretreatment limit <br />or prohibitive standard (federal-and/or iocal), deemeci to be <br />the most restrictive, with which non-domestic users are <br />required to comply. <br />(3) "Approval Authority" is the Ohio Environmental Protection <br />Agency and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. <br />(4) "Assigne3 Unit" is the measurement of a connection based on <br />flow. One unit is equal to one thousand (1,000) cubic feet <br />(Mcf). <br />(5) "Authorized representative of industrial user" may be (1) a <br />principal executive officer of at least the level of vice <br />president, if the industrial user is a corporation; (2) a <br />general partner or proprietor if the industrial user is a <br />partnership or proprietorship, respectively; (3) a duly <br />authorized representative of the inc3ividual designated above <br />if such representative is responsible for the overall opera- <br />tion of the facilities from which the discharge originates. <br />(6) "Average monthly discharge limitation" is the highest allowa- <br />ble average of 'daily aischarges' over a calendar month, <br />calculated as the sum of all daily discharges measured during <br />a calendar month divided by the number of daily discharges <br />measured during the month. <br />(7) "Average weekly discharge limitation" is the highest allowa- <br />ble average of 'daily discharges' over a calendar week, cal- <br />culated as the sum of all daily discharges measured during a <br />calendar week divided by the number of daily discharges mea- <br />sured during that week. <br />(8) "Beneficial uses" include, but are not limited to, domestic, <br />municipal, agricultural and industrial use, power generation, <br />recreation, aesthetic enjoyment, navigation, and the preser- <br />vation and enchancement of fish, wildlife, and other aquatic <br />-2-
