<br />Page 9 <br />, 8.2 Nhen a Fire Fighter•s position, lst or 2nd Class or Fire Cadet, has <br />been abolished and is re-established, the person who previously held <br />that position shall be entitled to that position. If a position <br />above the rank of Fire Fighter lst or 2nd Class is abolished then <br />re-established, the person who previously held that position shall <br />be entitled to that position. No new Employees shall be hired until <br />all laid off Employees within that classification have been given <br />the opportunitp to retura to work. My Employee laid off for more <br />than thirty-siz consecutive months shall not be called to return to <br />work. <br />ARTICLE I% <br />Discipline and Discharge <br />Civil Service xules and Regulations shall be considered in all <br />discipline and discharge proceedings. <br />ABTICLE X <br />Overtime <br />10.1 The Fire Chief will be the final suthority ia determining necessitp <br />for Overtime. The minimum time for which an employee shall be paid <br />for Call Back shall be for two hours. <br />10.2 Employees shall be paid for all Overtime hours accumulated in ezcess <br />of eighty hours on the nezt scheduled pay. Any payment shall be <br />paid at the rate of pay for the classification that it was earned <br />at, after applying the Longevity increment applicable. <br />10.3 Upon termination of employment or death of any employee, the <br />accumulated Overtime hours shall be paid to the Employee terminating <br />his employment or in the case of death, to the beneficiaries of the <br />deceased Employee as designated by law. <br />10.4 All Employees involved in initial paramedic certification shall be <br />compensated at their Basic Hourly Sate of Pay for training in excess <br />of the Noriaal Work Schedule. <br />10.5 Each Employee who works a shift beginning at 0800 hours on <br />Thanksgiving, Christmas and/or Easter shall be compensated at the <br />rate of twelve hours Basic Hourly gate of Pay plus Longevity. <br />ABTICLE RI <br />Uniform Allowance <br />11.1 All Employees shall upon their original appointment, receive three <br />hundred and fifty dollars clothing allowance, and shall during each <br />calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of three <br />hundred seventy-five dollars. <br />11.2 The administration of said uniform allowance shall be determined by <br />the Fire chief. <br />r.
