In addition to the benefits given to all sworn members <br />of the North,Olmsted Police Department with at least one (1) full year in <br />service, they shall also receive additional coverage, that being DENTAL <br />INSURANCE, which insurance shall be obtained through Blue Shield, and have <br />as some of its features a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) deductible per <br />person per calendar year, together with an annual maximum of One Thousand <br />Dollars ($1,000.00) payable per coveraged person during any benefit year. <br />ARTICLE XII <br />CLOTHING ALLOWANCE <br />In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and <br />other wage increases, full-time sworn employees of the North Olmsted <br />Police Department shall, on their original appointment and during the <br />calendar year of 1987, receive a clothing allowance of Five Hundred <br />Dollars ($500.00), and during the calendar year of 1988 and each ear <br />Y <br />• thereafter receive a clothing allowance of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), <br />to be determined and disbursed by and with approval of the Chief of <br />Police. <br />ARTICLE XIII <br />SICK LEAVE <br />1. Sick leave shall be accumulated in accordance with <br />Section 161.01 of the Codified Ordinance of the City of North Olmsted. <br />2. In the event that a full-time sworn employee of the <br />North Olmsted Police Department should be injured while in the line of <br />duty due to a sudden and accidental occurrence, and such injury has so <br />incapacitated said member of the Police Department than he is temporarily <br />-11- <br />.., ~.,~ ..a_..~._ ~ ._ .~.~r..,..~.....~,.~... <br />
