<br />ARTICLE XVII <br />PER DIEM ~'OR SCHOOLING <br />Employees of the Police Department of the City of North <br />Olmsted shall be reimbursed, not to exceed Six Dollars ($6.00) per day, as <br />per diem expenses while in attendance at Police Training Schools within <br />Cuyahoga County, when schools are for a two (2) week period, with ten (10) <br />days in class attendance. <br />ARTICLE XVIII <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE <br />The City shall provide insurance coverage respecting the <br />liability of all employees of the North Olmsted Police Department against <br />all causes of action arising out of allegations of false arrest, according <br />to specifications now on file, as provided for in Resolution 79-75 of the <br />City of North Olmsted Codified Ordinances. <br />ARTICLE XIX <br />MANAGEMENT RIGHTS <br />Except as specifically limited herein, the City shall have <br />the exclusive right to manage the operations, control the premises, direct <br />the working force, and maintain maximum efficiency of operations. <br />Specifically, the City's exclusive management rights include, but are not <br />limited to, the sole right to hire, discipline and discharge for 3ust <br />cause, lay off and promote; to promulgate and enforce reasonable <br />employment rules and regulations; to reorganize, discontinue, or enlarge <br />any operation, or division, within the Police Department; to transfer <br />(including the assignment and allocation of work operations-divisions) <br />-20- <br />
