.....,..,. ~n.., _. . . <br />07-Dec-1994 <br />D R A F T T H R E E <br />Authority records pertaining to operation, labor, training, accidents,. <br />Authority provided equipment, budget analysis and reports of financial and <br />other matters that the City may reasonably request. <br />15. PERSONNEL <br />15.1 The City shall furnish such numbers of qualified personnel in accordance <br />with the Charter of the City as are required for the safe and efficient <br />operation and maintenance of the transit facilities and to provide the <br />contracted service, including all necessary supervisory and managerial <br />functions. All transit personnel shall be and remain the employees of the City <br />and shall not be employees of the Authority. <br />15.2 City transit personnel who are engaged in providing regularly scheduled <br />public transit service shall be eligible to participate in the Authority's <br />sponsored safety awards programs, including but not limited to bus roadeos and <br />safety awards dinner. Such participation shall be in accordance with rules and <br />procedures established for Authority personnel. <br />15.3 City transit personnel who are providing contracted services shall be . <br />eligible to participate in Authority operator, maintenance, and management <br />training programs. The Authority shall notify the City in advance of the <br />availability of such programs. <br />15.4 The City agrees that its operators shall comply with orders, <br />instructions, and .directions from the Authority's Traffic Control and Zone <br />Supervisors regarding reroutes, scheduling, stops and operating procedures <br />while providing contracted service. Authority Zone Supervisors shall be <br />required to present proper identification upon request. <br />15.5 Any failure to comply with orders, instructions and directions referred <br />-17- <br />
