(c) Hours Open to Public. Each park and recreation site shall have signs <br />posted as to hours open and noting the hours the park or site will be closed. <br />(d) Parking Areas. Parking in designated areas only. No parking shall be <br />permitted between evergreen trees on West Park and East Park at North Olmsted Park. <br />(e) Certain Vehicles Prohibited. No heavily loaded vehicles or vehicles used <br />for such purposes, except upon special written permission. <br />(f) Animals. No dogs or other animals shall be permitted to run at large in a <br />park or recreation area. See General Offenses Code 505.01(d). Dogs shall be permitted <br />on leashes in North Olmsted and Clague City Parks, but not within designated <br />playground areas of such parks, and subject to all of the following conditions and <br />limitations: <br />(1) The person being the owner or in charge or control of any dog shall <br />not allow it in such parks without reasonable restraint and under control. Reasonable <br />restraint and under control is restraint which conforms to the animal's weight, size, and <br />strength, being controlled by a person who is at least sixteen years of age and of suitable <br />size and discretion to control the animal; <br />(2) No retractable leashes shall be permitted; <br />(3) Leashes may not exceed six (6) feet in length; <br />(4) Vicious dogs must be muzzled; <br />(5) No dog walking is permitted during Homecoming, All Scouts <br />Weekend, and other community events designated from time to time by the Director of <br />Community Life Services. <br />(g) Littering. No person shall place, deposit or dispose of any paper, trash, <br />garbage, waste, refuse, junk or any other substance upon public property used for <br />recreation or park purposes. <br />(h) Bill Posting. No person without proper authority shall post any bill or <br />sign, handbill or notice, or advertisement, on any public property used for park or <br />recreation purposes. <br />(i) Gambling. No person, unless exempt by the statutes of the State, as well <br />as Chapter 517 of the General Offenses Code, shall be permitted to conduct a game of <br />chance or scheme of chance, or to gamble in the public parks or recreation areas of the <br />City. <br />(j) Disorderly Conduct and Peace Disturbance. No person shall commit acts <br />which are prohibited in Chapter 509 of the General Offenses Code. <br />(k) Firearms or Explosives. No person shall be permitted to use firearms or <br />explosives contrary to the provisions of Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code. <br />2 <br />
