HOSPITALIZATION <br />58. The City shall continue to contribute toward the hospital- <br />surgical insurance premium of active regular full-time employees <br />by paying monthly an amount equal to the- then current single <br />employee's premium and, in the case of an employee with family <br />coverage, an additional amount equal to the cost of family <br />coverage in effect on July 1, 1975, as such cost may be adjusted <br />by premium charges made effective prior to July 19, 1979. The <br />employee will bear the cost of any increase in the premium for <br />family coverage subsequent to July 19, 1979. <br />JURY OR WITNESS PAY <br />59. An employee called for jury duty shall be granted a <br />leave of absence for the period of jury service and will be com- <br />pensated for the difference between his regular pay and jury pay <br />for absences necessarily caused by the jury duty. An employee who <br />is required to be absent from scheduled work to serve as a witness <br />called by a party in litigation will be paid for time lost from <br />scheduled straight time work. <br />SAFETY AND HEALTH <br />60.
