i I' FIRST: That the COUNTY will increase the structural ade~-uacy of pavement on CLAGUE ROAD by applying an overlay of asphalt concrete from LORAIN ROAD to NORTH OLMSTED NORTH CORP. LINE and adjust castings to grade where necessary, all in accordance with the plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Cuyahoga County Engineer. SECOND: That current Cuyahoga County Engineer standards for construction of County Roads shall be utilized in the design of this ;, r.^ject. THIRD: That the COUNTY will make the prelimin=ry survey, arrange for the preparation ~:nd av~~ard of the constructioi contract, furnish all supervision during construction of the improvement, and except in the case wherein the municipality elects to expedite the project by under- taking the project engineering, will arrange for the preparation of the construct ion rJl ans. FOURTH: That the MUNICIPALITY hereby agrees to ~articioate with the COUNTY in the cost of the improvement to the extent of funds received by an allocation from the County Motor Vehicl e ~5, 00 License Tax Fund. FIFTH: That if the project is financed as a Federal-Aid Highway and/or a State Issue No. 1 project, eligible costs of the im-~rovement shall be financed from the aforesaid funds. SIXTH: That in view of the aforesaid importance of this project to the movement of traffic within and through the COUNTY the following rules and regulations pertaining to traffic control and traffic control devices shall hereby be declared in effect: (A) The Street or highway shall be and hereby is desi Hated a through highway as provided in Section 4511.07 ~F) Ohio Revised Code. (B) Traffic control signs, signals and markings will not be installed on the project without prior approval by the COUNTY and the MUNICIPALITY will place and maintain all traffic control devices conforming to the Ohio Manual or' Uniform Traffic Control Devices on the improvement in compliance with the -~rovisions of Section 451.11 and related sections of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such devices erected or installed in the future shall likewise conform to said Manual. (C) Stop signs affecting the movement of traffic on said street or highway within the roadway being improves! shall be removed and no stop signs shall be erected on same except at its intersection with another through highway where traffic does not warrant the installation of a traffic control signal but where the warrants for a "Four-Way Stogy'' as provided in the aforesaid Manual are met. 'D) In establishing a School Zone groper pavement markings shall be painted and school speed limit signs shall be erected as provided in the aforesaid Manual. !E) The MUNICIPALITY shall prohibit ~~arking within the limits of the roadway improved under this contract within the corporate limits of the MUNICIPALITY.
