<br />imY <br />(d) Employees may use, when necessary, up to five <br />(5) days of earned and accumulated sick leave <br />for the purpose of attending the funeral of a <br />member of their immediate family. The term <br />"immediate family" for purposes of this sub- <br />section shall mean: parents, parents of spouse, <br />spouse, children of the employee, brother, <br />sister, brother of spouse, sister of spouse, <br />grandparent, granchild, as well as relatives <br />living in the employee's home. <br />.?,. <br />.N <br />(e) Employees may use up to fifteen (15) work days <br />per year of earned and accumulated sick leave <br />if necessitated by illness in the employee's <br />immediate family. For purposes of this sub- <br />section, "immediate family" shall be interpreted <br />to be spouse, parents of the employee, regard- <br />less of place of residence, and other relatives <br />living within the household of the employee. <br />(f) When an employee with five (5) or more years of <br />service retires, having received P.E.R.S. Pension <br />and having accumulated sick leave time, the <br />retiring employee may convert one-quarter (1/4) <br />of the accumulated sick leave time to pay on the <br />basis of his rate of pay at the time of retirement, <br />but the maximum amount paid shall not exceed two <br />hundred and forty (240) hours' pay. <br />?. <br />_ 22_ <br />. ..-. . .. . . . .. .. ... . . . r.,.?Tiµ_.. ..... . , _ . ... ... .......
