To redesign and redecorate the ice rink with a unique and attractive <br />combination of graphics and advertising at iw expense to the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Complex. <br />B. To provide the North Olmsted Recreation Complex with an annual iacome <br />through advertising similar to the current program being used in <br />European Ice Rinks. <br />II. Method <br />A. To paint on existing three walls that enclose the ice rink a similar <br />design to the one enclosed in this proposal. All designs will be <br />approved by the North Olmsted Recreation Complex. <br />1. Designs will be applied to the wall through two separate methods. <br />a. Overhead projectors for the exactness required for <br />reproduction of advertising logos and - <br />b. Pattern cut-outs for proper perspective and unity <br />throughout the entire design. <br />B. The advertising space to be sold will be very tastefully integrated <br />throughout the art graphics which will be depicting hockey, speed- <br />skating, figure skating;-and recreational skating. <br />C. The advertising wili be sold on a joint effort between the Cimter <br />Representatives and NORC. NORC will provide qualified leads from <br />advertisers who now participate in the Complex and notify them <br />that a Cimter representative will be calling on them. All advertisers <br />will be approved by NORC. <br />III. Advertising Revenue AQreement Between Cimter and Citv of North OlmstecL <br />A. The advertising space will be sold on one, two and three year contracts <br />with primary emphasis on three year contracts. The three year contract <br />will be emphasized as the best purchase price reduction. <br />1. Example: Sign 6' x 4' =_24 sq. ft. x$40 per sq, ft. _$960.00 <br />First Year $960.00 <br />Second Year 890.00 <br />Third Year 790.00 <br />B. Al1 monies including this first $33,000 expenses shall be held zn escrow. At <br />the point revenues taken in ampunt to $38,000 (the estimated cost of pro- <br />ducing Wall B South and 14all C itorth), Cimter shall be authorized to <br />withdraw $16,000 in order to effect the necesary art work and Graphic <br />Preparation. The remaining {unds shall be disbursed as follows: <br />$11,000 after 1/3 of project is ccxnpleted <br />$11,000 after 2/3 of project is completed <br />All withdrawals shall require two s ignatures and signatures of the autho- <br />rized representative of Cimter, Inc., and one signature of the authorized <br />Representa.tive of the City of ?,Torth 07msted.
