Sunday through 12:00 midnight <br />Saturday. It is recognized that the bus line shall be maintained <br />on a schedule compatible with efficient and practical transit <br />service 7 days a week. Therefore, it is further recognized that <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line retains the right to manage <br />and direct the work force as well as the right to determine the <br />manner and method of assigning work. It is further recognized that <br />some employees may be assigned to work schedules to accommodate <br />7 day per week service which may of necessity involve overtime work. <br />Hourly employees will be paid at time and one-half of the straight <br />time rate for all hours in excess of 8 hours per day, and, also, time <br />and one-half of their straight time rate _f or all hours worked in <br />excess of 40 hours in any one work week. However, under no circumstances <br />shall there be a pyramiding of overtime. It should also be noted <br />that the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall determine the manner <br />and method of assigning and offering all overtime work which is consis- <br />tent with efficient transit practices. <br />SECTION 3: That there is hereby established longevity benefits <br />for a~~ul3~time employees, both Administrative and Maintenance, of. <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line which shall be as follows: <br />a. Effective August 1, 1976 through and including October 2, <br />1976, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line having completed 5 years of full time continuous services as <br />employees of said bus line or having been transferred from some other <br />department by administrative appointment shall be paid an additional <br />3% of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth <br />year of continuous full time service. After completing their tenth <br />year and prior to completion of their fifteenth year of continuous <br />full time service, they shall be paid 40 of their base annual salary. <br />After completion of their fifteenth year of continuous service and <br />prior to completion of their twentieth year of continuous service, <br />they shall be paid 50 of their base annual salary. After they shall <br />be paid 6$ of their base annual salary. These payments shall be <br />longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br /> <br />
