One (1) Foreman <br />(1) Six (6) maintenance men <br />SECTION 5: That retroactive to March 1, 1976, the compensa- <br />tion to be paid to the following employees in the Service Depart- <br />ment of the Public Works Division shall be as follows: <br />Public Works Commissioner $12,000.00 to $19,830.00 Annually <br />Superintendent of Public <br />Service and Properties <br />Section $l0,OC)©.00 to $18,000.00 Annually <br />Vehicle Maintenance Dept. <br />Foreman 4.75 to 7.40 Per hour <br />Service Dept. Foreman 4.40 to 7.05 Per hour <br />which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. <br />SECTION 6: The normal work week for regular full-time foremen <br />in the Service Department will be forty-one and one-quarter (41~a) <br />hours of work in five (5) days of eight and one-quarter (8'~) con- <br />secutive hours per day, inclusive of one-quarter (4) hour show-up <br />time which may be allowed at the start of each shift, and exclusive <br />of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.M. <br />Monday to midnight Sunday. <br />In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of <br />forty-one and one-quarter (41~) hours in any work week, hours on <br />a holiday which the employee did not work but for which he received <br />pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There shall be no <br />pyramiding of overtime. <br />Effective September 1, 1976, foremen will be paid time and <br />one-half (1~) of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked <br />in excess of eight and one-quarter (8~) in any one work day and <br />time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rate of pay .for <br />hours worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (41~a) in <br />any one work week. <br />SECTION 7: Employees of the Public Works Division shall be <br />paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work <br />on the following holidays: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Presi- <br />dent's Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; <br />Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />Employees of the above department of the Public Works Division <br />shall not be required to work on the aforesaid holidays unless <br />required to work on said holidays due to a regular posted work <br />schedule or by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an <br />emergency. <br />SECTION 8: All full-time employees of the Public Works <br />Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, <br />having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service <br />as employees of said department, or having been transferred from <br />some other department by administrative appointment, shall be paid <br />an additional 4g of their base annual salary, thereafter until <br />completion of ten (lC~ years full-time continuous service, after <br />#!Y3h@i~# -_ ~3WER.~. is klvh+".--.- .< .. ~ ..,. ... ~... .. .~ '.
