One (1) Foreman (1) Six (6) maintenance men SECTION 5: That retroactive to March 1, 1976, the compensa- tion to be paid to the following employees in the Service Depart- ment of the Public Works Division shall be as follows: Public Works Commissioner $12,000.00 to $19,830.00 Annually Superintendent of Public Service and Properties Section $l0,OC)©.00 to $18,000.00 Annually Vehicle Maintenance Dept. Foreman 4.75 to 7.40 Per hour Service Dept. Foreman 4.40 to 7.05 Per hour which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. SECTION 6: The normal work week for regular full-time foremen in the Service Department will be forty-one and one-quarter (41~a) hours of work in five (5) days of eight and one-quarter (8'~) con- secutive hours per day, inclusive of one-quarter (4) hour show-up time which may be allowed at the start of each shift, and exclusive of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.M. Monday to midnight Sunday. In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (41~) hours in any work week, hours on a holiday which the employee did not work but for which he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Effective September 1, 1976, foremen will be paid time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight and one-quarter (8~) in any one work day and time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rate of pay .for hours worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (41~a) in any one work week. SECTION 7: Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Presi- dent's Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. Employees of the above department of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on the aforesaid holidays unless required to work on said holidays due to a regular posted work schedule or by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an emergency. SECTION 8: All full-time employees of the Public Works Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service as employees of said department, or having been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment, shall be paid an additional 4g of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (lC~ years full-time continuous service, after #!Y3h@i~# -_ ~3WER.~. is klvh+".--.- .< .. ~ ..,. ... ~... .. .~ '.
