CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 74 - ~,~ Page 2 <br />Section 4. That retroactive to January 1, 1974, the compensation to be paid <br />to the following employees of the Wastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works <br />Division of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: <br />Superintendent, Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Class III $10,000.00 to $16,000.00 Annually <br />Class IV $11,000.00 to $17,000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Superintendent of Operations <br />Class III $ 8,000.00 to $14,000.00 Annually <br />Class IV $ 9,700.00 to $15,000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Superintendent <br />of Maintenance $ 9,500.00 to $14,000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Superintendent <br />of Systems $10,500.00 to $14,000.00 Annually <br />Systems Foreman $ 4.40 to $ 6.10 Per Hour <br />which salaries and wages shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. <br />Section 5. Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their regular <br />rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays: New Year's <br />Day; Presidents Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; <br />Christmas Day and the employee's birthday. Employees of the Wastewater Treatment <br />and Collection System Section of the Public Works Hivision shall not be required to <br />work on the aforesaid holidays unless required to work on said holidays due to a <br />regular posted work schedule, or by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an <br />emergency. <br />Section 6. All full time employees of the Public Works Division except the <br />Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years of <br />full time continuous service, as employees of said department or having been trans- <br />ferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an <br />additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of thn (10} <br />years full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% <br />of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) <br />year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% <br />of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of <br />continuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service thereby <br />they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 7. Effective January 1, 1974, the City :of North Olmsted shall pay the <br />full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full <br />time employees of the Public Gdorks Division, and in the event any full time employee <br />of the Public Works Division is married or is the head of the family, the City :of North <br />Olmsted shall pay the full amount, up to maximum of Six Hundred Fifteen ($615.4) <br />Dollars toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical <br />Plutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirty-Eight and 40/100 ($638.40) Dollars <br />toward the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost <br />of any subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. <br />Section 8. The Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance and the Systems Foreman <br />shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred and Thirty ($130.00) Dollars per year for the <br />aquisition of, or for the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms worn by them in <br />the performance of their duties. <br />Section 9. All full time employees of the Public Works Division shall be <br />entitled to an annual vacation inaccordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br /> <br />
