' .;;,:.. <br /> '~,ra.~; <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This shall serve as an agreement by and between North Olmsted <br />hereinafter referred to as "the Participant", and Metropolitan <br />Health Planning Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "the <br />Corporation", for services and responsibilities pertaining to <br />the Regional Emergency Medical Communications System, hereinafter <br />referred to as "the System." <br />The Participant and the Corporation agree as follows. <br />I. The Corporation Shall: <br />A. Provide the Participant with mobile radio equipment for <br />voice radio communications within the System. The mobile <br />radio, hereinafter referred to as "the Radio", provided <br />for each ambulance listed below will operate on two <br />frequencies but will have four channel capability for <br />future expansion of the System. <br />One mobile radio for each of the following: <br />1969 Chevrolet (carryall) <br />1972 International <br />B. Hold title to the Radio. <br />C. Provide for the installation and maintenance of the Radio. <br />D. Provide or cause to be provided at its own expense at a <br />location to be determined by the Corporation the Central <br />Medical Emergency Dispatch (CMED) operating 24 hours a <br />day, seven days a week, with the following general services: <br />1. Receive calls from the public and agencies who request <br />emergency ambulance services and contact the appro- <br />priate political subdivision for dispatch of ambulance. <br />This access to Central Medical Emergency Dispatch will <br />be primarily received through a county-wide seven-digit <br />telephone number. Calls for other purposes may be <br />received and will be handled as Central Medical Emer- <br />gency Dispatch deems appropriate. <br />
