In <br />addition, no person shall be eligible to serve as a ward <br />Councilman unless he shall have been a resident of the ward <br />from which he is elected at least one year immediately prior <br />to the date of his election. <br />Except as otherwise provided in this Charter, no member of <br />Council shall hold any other municipal office or employment <br />by the City of North Olmsted. A member of Council shall <br />not directly or indirectly solicit, contract for, receive, <br />or be interested in any profit or emolument from or on <br />account of any contract, job, work, or service with or for <br />the City. <br />Any member of Council who ceases to possess any such quali- <br />fications, or moves from his ward, if elected from a ward., <br />or from the City, if elected from the City at large, shall <br />forfeit his office. <br />The provisions of this section governing the qualifications <br />of members of Council shall be equally applicable to the <br />President of Council." <br />Proposal 3: That Section 2 of Article V of the Charter rela- <br />ting to the Director of Law be amended. to increase the term of <br />office from two (2) years to four (4) years, to provide the method <br />of filling a vacancy in his office, and to establish a procedure <br />for his removal by Council under certain circumstances, such amended <br />Section 2 of Article V to read as follows: <br />
