' s ~ v all Transit Facilities in compliance with all present or future laws or ordinances of any federal, state, municipal or other governmental body of competent jurisdiction, and with all rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. The City shall maintain, preserve, protect and l:ec~p the Transit Facilities neat and clean and in good repair, working order and condition, and from time to time will make or cause to be made all needful and proper repairs and maintenance so that the Scheduled Service may be properly and advanta- geously conducted at all times. If the Aut}~ority determines that the Transit Facilities provided by the City do not meet the foregoing standards, the Authority may give the City written notice of the deficiencies and the City shall imme- diately correct such deficiencies or give the Authority written notice of the reasons why it cannot correct such deficiencies. The Cit}~ shall furnish all fuel, oil, lubri- cants, parts, accessories and other supplies necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Transit Facilities. The parties will cooperate to obtain fuel., oii, lubricants, parts, accessories and other supplies at the lowest feasible cost, and will consider the advantages of central purchasing of any or all of such supplies. The Authority may inspect the fuel, oil, lubricants, parts, accessories and other supplies being utilized by the City, and make recom<<enda- bons to the City regarding then. 7. Licenses and Ta~:es.
