<br />Mr. C. 0. Fisher, representing Lily Lee Inc., appeared before Council regarding
<br />rezoning of Lorain Rd, at W. 237th St. He was advised that this is being taken up in
<br />the revised Zoning Ordinance and that the first reading of the ordinance should
<br />be March 20, 1962.
<br />Mr. Kleist of Libby Lee presented preliminary plans for Libby Lee No. 2 and was
<br />advised that this should go before the Planning Commission first.
<br />Resolution No. 62-20 was introduced by Mr. O'Neill. A resolution commending
<br />Lieutenant Colonel John H. Glenn, Jr. and those responsible for Project
<br />Mercury on the success of the manned spaced flight of the capsule "Friendship
<br />Seven". It was moved by Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second
<br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion
<br />was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman,
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Resolution No. ~2-21 was introduced by Mrs. Nicholas. A resolution requesting
<br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio to resurface Clague
<br />Road from Mastick Road north to the northerly corporate limits of the City of
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio. It was moved by Mrs. Nicholas, seconded by Mr. O'Neill,
<br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />O'Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third .times and put
<br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote treon was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nichd as, O'Neill.
<br />Resolution No. 62-22 was introduced by Mr. Mangani. A resolution releasing from
<br />all liability the principals and sureties on certain performance bonds heretofore
<br />posted by the Ohio Shores Construction Corporation for the completion of
<br />various improvements in Ohio Shores Subdivision Nos. 1,2,3,4, and 5 and declaring
<br />an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Mangani, seconded by Mr. Leonard, that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the
<br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said
<br />motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas,
<br />O'Neill. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put
<br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster,
<br />Christman, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Resolution No. 62-23 was introduced by Mr. Caster. A resolution correcting an
<br />error in the preamble of Resolution No. 61-68 and declaring an emergency. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Caster, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times
<br />and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows:

<br />the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Leonard,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Mr. Mangani moved, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that the Law Director be directed
<br />to prepare legislation approving the Columbia Land Development Co. plat plans
<br />for record purposes only with the following stipulations as stated in the City
<br />Planning Committee's report of February 3, 1862: (a) Subdivision No. 1 - reserve
<br />lots 53 32 and 48 for future street openings. (b) Subdivision No. 2 - reserve
<br />lot No. 1 for future street opening. (c) Subdivision No. 3 - reserve lots no.
<br />3, 62, 45 and 18 'for future street openings. "Yeas" Caster, Christman, Leonard,
<br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill.
<br />Mr. Mangani returned the plat for LyndhaveiSubdivision to the Engineer for changes
<br />to be made.
<br />Mr. Mangani advised that no recommendation has been made by the City Planning
<br />Committee on the dedication plat for Country Club Blvd. as yet as they are
<br />awaiting more information from the Planning Commission.
<br />Mr. Mangani advised that the City Planning Committee had done some research on tf3e
<br />procedure of Subdivisions being able to change lot lines and lot~,size~ for 5 or
<br />less lots without presenting the change to the Planning Commission and that they
<br />feel that the Charter covers this matter and that Subdivisions must present
<br />any changes of this sort to the Planning Commission. and to Council for approval.
<br />Mr. Mangani also advised that the Committee has done some research on street
<br />lighting in new developments but will investigate further before making
<br />any recommendations.
