MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLId1SSTED, OHIO <br />June IJa., 1960 ~. 8:.:50 P.M. <br />Present were Francis J. O~Neill, President Pro Tem of Council; Henry Caster, <br />Ralph Christman, Dewey Limpert, A. L. Mangani, Lillian Nicholas, George H. Porter. <br />Also present were Lloyd E. Barnes, Service Director; James T. Wilson, Safety <br />Director: C.J. Oviatt, Solicitor; and Louise Hall, Clerk; William Gerlach, Auditor. <br />Absent: Paul J. Gareau~ Mayor; Bruce MacDonald, President of Council. <br />Resolution No. 3030 tTa.s given its second reading. <br />P~eaolution No. 3031 was given Sts decand reading. <br />Resolution No. 3040 was introduced by Mr. Christaman. A resolution releasing <br />Bond h'o. 939-829 wherein Olmsted Colony Inc. is the principal, Maryland <br />Casualty Company as surety, and City of North 07~asted, the obligee, and which <br />bond posted insured the completion of the paving i.n said subdivision in accordance <br />with the plans and in compliance with the ordinances and resolutions of this <br />city. It was moved by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Mangani, that the statutory <br />rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third times <br />and but on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: <br />Caster, Christman, Limpert, Marigani~ Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. .Thereupon the <br />resolution was read. the second and third times and put upon its passage and the <br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, <br />Nicholas, OtRei1.1, Porter. <br />Resolution No. 3041 was introduced by Mr. Christman. A resolution releasing <br />Bond No. 90.591«912 of Olmsted Colony Inc. subdivision No. 1 in the principal <br />sum of X33,350.00 for paving which surety is the Maryland Casualty Company, and <br />declaring an emergency. It was moved. by Mr. Christman, seconded by Mr. Mangani, <br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the <br />second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said <br />motion was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O~Nei11~ <br />Porter. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put <br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman. <br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, OtAei11, Porter. <br />Resolution No. 30l~2 was introduced by Mr. Porter. A resolution authorizing the <br />Safety Director to advertise for bids for new police car radios and declaring <br />an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mrs. Nicholas, that the <br />statutory rule be suspended. and the resolution be read immediately the second <br />and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion <br />was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O~Neil1~ Porter. <br />Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as followss Caster, Christman, <br />Limpert, Mangano, Nicholas, O'R'eill, Po~#~r. <br />Ordinance No. 3el~3 was introduced by Mr. O'Neill. An ordinance amending Sections <br />1 and 2 of Ordinance 2821, enacted March 3, 1959, amending sections 1 and 2 of <br />Ordinance 2603, enacted December 17, 1957, amending sections 1 and 2 of ordinance <br />221.l~, "An ordinance determining salaries, wages and bonds of appointed officials <br />and employees of the City of North Olmsted," As amended by ordinance 2I~96, <br />enacted June ~., 1957, and ordinance 2533, enacted August 20, 195?, and declaring <br />an emergency. It was moved by M,r. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Christman, that th.e <br />statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second <br />and third times and put on its passage.. The affirmative vote on said. motion <br />was as follows: Caster, Christman, Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'Neill, Porter. <br />Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its <br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Christman, <br />Limpert, Mangani, Nicholas, O'I~Teill, Porter. <br />
