A letter from Hayden, ?+ti.ller & Co. gi~aing additional information <br />on the Financing Plan for the Sewer Program. <br />2, A letter from C.J. Oviatt, Solicitor, in reference to <br />fees to the Board of Building Code Appeals and also <br />peri~ining to dynamiting and use of explosives in <br />North 07ansted. Thi$ matter was turned over to the <br />Legislative Committee for further study. <br />3. A letter from the North Olmsted Board of Building Cc~e <br />Appeals in reference to fees. Also turned over to the <br />Legislative Committee. <br />1~. A letter from The Department of Highways concerning <br />Ordinance 3002, an ordinance requesting a point of access <br />to Brookpark Rd. <br />5. A letter from North Olmsted Planning Commission pertaining <br />to the salary for a Recording Secretary for the Commission. <br />6. A memorandum from Lloyd Barnes, Serv3.ce Director, requesting <br />a wage change for the Service Department. Turned over <br />to Finance Committee. <br />7. A letter from The W. B. Pate Construction Co. requesting <br />a change in the ordinance on the type of concrete streets <br />to be constructed in a sub•~division. Turned over to the <br />Streets Commi.tts®, <br />8. A letter from The North Olmsted Planning Commission <br />regarding joining the Regional Planning Commission. <br />9, A letter from C.J. Oviatt to Floyd G. Browne & Assoc. <br />pertaining to a title search to be made on parcels of <br />land upon which rights of way or easements are to be <br />obtained. <br />Mr. MacDonald appointed Mrs. Nicholas, chairman, and Mr. Mangani to serve <br />on a Sewer Publicity Committee so that news pertaining to the Sewer Program <br />can be publicized correctly and at the proper time. <br />Mr. O~Neill reported for the Transportation Committee that Fairview had not <br />accepted the increase in fares and extension of the bus franchise but that <br />the Committee will meet with the Fairview Council to explain the need for <br />the increase and the extension. <br />Mr. Porter reported for the Safety Committee that they had a combined meeting <br />with the Legislative Committee concerning the need for traffic lights and <br />also on e~ynamiting in North Olmsted. <br />Mr. Porter also reported far the Welfare Committee that they had been informed <br />of a needy family in North Olmsted and that this is a continuing case and <br />would be too much for the City to handle but that other organizations in the <br />City are going to aid this family. <br />Mr. Caster reported for the Utilities Con~¢nittee that the survey for lights <br />on Charles, Parklane, Coe, Decker, and LeBerne is not completed and if there <br />are arty more requests for lights to please contact the Coaunittee i~nediately. <br />The Committee is also reviewing the need for additional lights at the Lorain•» <br />Brookpark area. <br />Mr. Christman reported that the Streets, Sidewalks, Sewers and Ditches Committee <br />met with the residents of Lansing Drive and are considering the possibilit3r of <br />rerouting the ditch to the back of lots and that they are in the process of <br />contacting the residents regarding this rerouting. <br />Mr. Lampert reported that the Legislative Committee had reviewed the information <br />on codefying the ordinances from The Walter H. Drape Co. and felt that this <br />should be done but Matt the charge is too high and that they will contact <br />other companies as to their services and charges. <br />Mrs. Nicholas reported for the Municipal Properties Committee that Mr. Gerlach <br />is undertaking to have the Henry p~ropert<j removed from the tax duplicate. <br />
