<br />The Engineer reported Ambour Drive Subdivision No. 4 submitted a sidewalk
<br />bond for approval. The underground utilities and paving are complete,
<br />the Solicitor approved it a.s to form, and Mayor approved it as to surety.
<br />Also, Olmsted Colony requested dedication of molly Drive and release of
<br />paving and sidewalk bonds. The inspection is not as yet completed. The
<br />McKenzie Park Development inspection will be completed shortly for dedica-
<br />tion.
<br />The Clerk read a communication from the North Olmsted Junior '~F?omen's Club
<br />relative to sponsoring the American Red Cross Bloodmobile in North Olmsted,
<br />emphasizing the need for blood donors, and a:~king cooperation of all residents
<br />to make the November 19th drive a success.
<br />- Two residents from Twin Circle Drive appeared before Council requesting
<br />further information in regards to the installation of the laterals as
<br />it pertains to individual home owners being connected. Each home would
<br />be a separate study, and it was recommended the individuals contact their
<br />own personal plumber after establishing the placement of the laterals,
<br />Pair. Cervenak appeared before Council requesting further information in
<br />relative to the petition for paving the undeveloped portion of Decker
<br />Road, T}-.e Engineer reported the petition did not have sufficient signa-
<br />tures to cover the necessary 60/o front footage, lacking approximately
<br />386 feet. The petition is to be returned to be re-circulated.
<br />r:r. Donald Ford inquired relative to publicity,in regards to sewer bonds,
<br />being distributed to th.e Citizens of North Olmsted. The financing plan
<br />recommended by the Fiscal Agents will be studied and a meeting will be
<br />held the 13th cf October at 8:00 P,M., at which meetinY; the plan may be
<br />adopted,
<br />I~ir, Stalley inquired relative to the legal status of the ?611,000.00 grant,
<br />and was advised it will be expended according to law.
<br />Iv?r. Pw'acDonald reported he had called a Committee meeting for the 20th of
<br />October at 7:00 P.Tf. to discuss several items, such as the Zehman-~r!olf
<br />situation, sewer package plants, and final approval of Maplehurst, v°dest-
<br />lawn, Oakdale and Holly Drive. Also, a determination should be made ~~rith
<br />respect to prohibiting truck traffic en P?aplehurst, or requiring that a
<br />maintenance bond be posted,
<br />Iyir. T~lacDonald also reported relative to the Springva.le Gold Course and
<br />Froelich properties. Ttie spillway is being lowered, and it was suggested
<br />the main ditch be cleaned on the Froelichr property,
<br />Ordinance No. 2923 was introduced by Mr, MacDonald. tin ordinance authorizing
<br />the contracting for the printing of 150 copies of plans and specifications
<br />for the proposed sewage treatment plant for the City of North Olmsted, and
<br />declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Nir.
<br />Kramer, that the statutory rule ~be suspended and the ordinance be read
<br />irnmedi.ately the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Hinkel, :Iixson, P~ramer,
<br />Lynch, P~~acDonald, 0't+eill, `:.Filson, Thereupon 'the ordinance was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passage and the affiirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follows; riinkel, Jixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'deill,
<br />°tilson.
<br />Ordinance No. 2924 was introduced by Tfr. MacDonald. An ordinance employing
<br />the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey as special counsel to assist the
<br />Solicitor in the proceedings requisite for the authorization and issuance
<br />of bonds of the City for the purpose of financing and construction of a
<br />sanitary sewage plant and sewerage lines. The ordinance wa}s given its
<br />first reading only.
<br />:.Resolution No. 2925 was introduced by P1r. ~;.ramer, A resolu+,i on authorizing
<br />the Director of Fublic Service to advertise for bids for the furnishing
<br />of labor and material in accordance with plans and. specifications on file
<br />in the office of the Director of Public Service for the construction of a
<br />sanitary sewage plant and sewerage lines as thereon shown, and declaring
