<br />The Engineer reported relative to the LeBerne inspection, prior to dedication.
<br />Difficulties have been reported and filed with the Service Director.
<br />The Engineer reported the Developer of Ambour Drive requests permission to
<br />pave ~mbour Drive with concrete approximately 400 lineal feet this year.
<br />Mr. MacKay, representing this subdivision appeared before Council to obtain
<br />permission, stating they will withhold request of permits until the job ie
<br />completed. The Engineer reported utilities on this particular street are
<br />in and completed, and as a rule, concrete paving cannot be put in until
<br />a Winter season hae passed; however, no utilities are to be under the concrete
<br />pavement and even the water main is laid off the pavement, with the line
<br />crossing the road at only one angle. Our inspectors watched the tamping,
<br />aad hs would recommend permission be granted. They will also furnish a
<br />maintenance bond.
<br />It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mrs. Lynch, permission be granted
<br />to pave Ambour Drive with concrete 400 lineal feet, 20 ft. wide. "Yeas"
<br />Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />Mr. Wilson reported relative to Evelyn Drive and Eleanor Drive. Mr. Bauer
<br />agreed to pay ~9,300.0o to complete his part of paving in the contract with
<br />Mr. Platten, providing we release him of any further obligation on the
<br />street as far as road construction is concerned. The Engineer and Service
<br />Director indicated the amount is sufficient to finish the street. He
<br />talked to Mr. Bever, and upon submission of release by Mr. Oviatt, he would
<br />deposit with the City the sum of $9,300.00 and will go ahead immediately.
<br />Mr. Wilson will contact the Solicitor this next week.
<br />Answering Mr. Boza relative to Theresa Lane, the Mayor stated that he
<br />believed that no agreement should be entered into with Mr. Molnar except
<br />he complete the job according to plans and specifications. The Solicitor
<br />will be directed to expedite the matter to briag this situation to a
<br />satisfactory conclusion, and corrective measures are being taken for the
<br />future.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Wilson, seconded by Mr. MacDonald, the Solicitor be
<br />directed to take the necessary legal action against Molnar to complete
<br />the devslopment of Theresa Lane. "Yeas" Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald,
<br />O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />The Building Commissioner reported 65 permits for the month of August, in
<br />the amount oP $673.20, with an estimated valuation of $587,000.00.
<br />A communication from Mr. Earl J. Timothy was read relative to the inclusion
<br />of the Broxbourne area in the master sewer plan, in order that the probability
<br />of a water line extension might be afforded this area. The Sewer Committee
<br />is to meet on the 22nd with Mr. Kuhn of Floyd Browne & Associates. This
<br />matter will be taken into consideration.
<br />Mr. Wilson reported relative to the budget, that the City would receive
<br />$23,900.00 more in taxes than in 1958.
<br />Mr. O'Neill, Chairman of the Transportation Committee requested to go on
<br />record to state that the disciplinary action taken on the Bus Line in
<br />August he knew nothing about until it was concluded. It was moved by Mr.
<br />O'Neill, seconded by Mr. MacDonald, this statement go on record as such.

<br />Mr. O'Neill reported relative to a meeting of the Safety Committee and
<br />Fire Chief on September 15th, with the Bureau of Mines, regarding the
<br />capping, venting, or plugging of wells in the City of North Olmsted,
<br />recommending the Solicitor amend Ordinance No. 2510, Section 2, to include
<br />parking lots, and do something about plugging instead of venting or capping.
<br />It was moved by Mr. O'Neill, seconded by Mr. Wilson, the Solicitor be
<br />dirdcted to prepare the necessary legislation to plug wells. "Yeas"
<br />Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />Mr. MacDonald reported there is to be a Committee meeting on September
<br />22nd with Mr. Kuhn of Floyd Browne and Associates, and a general Public
<br />meeting on the 14th of October, at the North Olmsted Community Cabin.
