<br />Mr. Fred Crider appeared before Council relative to commercial signs in
<br />residential areas, which signs are in direct violation of an ordinance
<br />passed by the legislative body of the City, and in his opinion, no other
<br />Board can override, and any modification should be made only after a
<br />public hearing. The matter was turned over to the Safety Committee to
<br />check this matter further.

<br />Ordinance No. 2744 was introduced by Mr. Hixson. An ordinance amending
<br />Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2504 enacted by the City of North Olmsted on
<br />July 15, 1957, establishing a new access point to Brookpark Road (SR 17)
<br />in the City of North Olmsted, at a point approximately 1818 feet to 1863
<br />feet easterly of the intersection of Brookpark Road and Lorain Road (SR 10)
<br />in the City of North Olmsted, for the purposes of affording better control
<br />of traffic in and to the Shopping Center located South of the intersection
<br />of SR 10 and SR 17, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mr. Hixson,
<br />seconded by Mrs. Lynch, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald,
<br />O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the second and third
<br />times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as
<br />follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.
<br />Resolution No. 2745 was introduced by Mr. Hixson. A resolution accepting
<br />the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing
<br />the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Hixson, seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the statutory rule
<br />be suspended and the resolution be read immediately the second and third
<br />times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote thereon was as follows:

<br />Ordinance No. 2746 was introduced by Mr. MacDonald. An ordinance establish-
<br />ing a permit fee schedule to be charged and collected by the Building
<br />Administrator of the City of North Olmsiai for the construction, alteration,
<br />repair, moving or demolition of any dwelling or appurtenance structure,
<br />residential, business or industrial, greenhouse, outdoor signs and display
<br />structures, outdoor above ground or buried tanks, curb cutting, lowering
<br />or removing permit, permanent type swimming pool; a separate permit to be
<br />obtained and charged for all electrical work, plumbing and sewer, heating
<br />and air conditioning, regulated by the building cods of the City of Nor~~msted
<br />and to provide for general contractors' registration, thereby amending
<br />Section 216 of Ordinance No. 826 enacted June 26, 1950, and declaring an
<br />emergency. It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mr. O'Neill, that
<br />the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote
<br />thereon was as follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson.

<br />Ordinance No. 2747 was introduced by Mr, MacDonald. An ordinance amending
<br />subsection (e) of Section 6, Article III of Ordinance No. 2445 known as
<br />the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of North Olmsted, by requiring
<br />the installation of sanitary sewer facilities in the streets of all new
<br />allotments proposed to be developed in the City, and declaring an emergency.
<br />It was moved by Mr. MacDonald, seconded by Mr. Kramer, that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and
<br />third times and gut on its passage. The affirmative vote thereon was as
<br />follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch, MacDonald, O'Neill, Wilson. Thereupon,
<br />the ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Hixson, Kramer, Lynch,

<br />special assessments, Permanent Parcel No. 231-9-5, Alexander Road. It
<br />was moved by Mr. Kramer, seconded by Mr. Wilson, that the statutory rule
<br />be suspended and the ordinance be read immediately the second and third
<br />times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote thereon was as follows:
