<br />The Mayor read a proclamation requested by the Fire Department to declare
<br />October 6th - 12th Fire Prevention Week.
<br />The Mayor read Certificates of Awsrd to Council and himself for cooperation
<br />and participation in the North Olmsted ComTnunity Day Parade.
<br />The Mayor reported that the Safety hazard at Root Road and Lorain had been
<br />corrected. Permission was granted the property owner until the first
<br />frost for the removal of the trees.
<br />The Mayor reported regarding the paving of Ranchview. Mr. Benuska prcxaised
<br />he would let the contract and have the work started within two weeks.
<br />The Mayor recommended to Council that Mr. Geo. Porter III assume the various
<br />Council Co®mittees opened by Mr. Decker's appointment as President of Council.
<br />These are Safety, Finance, Utilities, and Health Committees.
<br />The Engineer requested the Fire Chief to inspect the hydrants on Ambour
<br />Drive No. 1.
<br />The Health Report for the month of August was read.
<br />The matter of the condition of the pavesusnt on Teresa Lane was discussed.
<br />The Solicitor is to check into it as an undedicated street. Mr. Decker
<br />stated that he would try to have 1Kr. Molnar here for the ne~ct meeting.
<br />Ordinance No. 2560 was introduced by Mr. Kramer: An ordinance authorizing
<br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on Sublot No. 42 on
<br />Esther Avenue, North Olmsted, Ohio. It was mov®d by Mr. Kramer, seconded
<br />by Mr. Porter, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be
<br />read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as followss Baker, Crider, Kramer,
<br />Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the second
<br />and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon
<br />was as followr: Baker, Crider, Kramer, Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk.
<br />Ordinance No. 2561 was introduced by Mr. Baker: An ordinance authorizing
<br />and directing the cancellation of special assessments on Permanent Parcel
<br />N©. 232-28-3 on Silverdale Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. It was moved by Mr.
<br />Baker, seconded by Mr. Schwenk, that the statutory rule be suspended and
<br />the ordinance be read imffiediately the second i-nd third times and put on
<br />its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker,
<br />Crider, Kramer, Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk. Thereupon, the ordinance was
<br />read the second and third times and put upon its passage and the affirma-
<br />tive vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Kramer, Neubauer, Porter,
<br />Schwenk.

<br />to proceed with the improvement of Fitch Road from Butternut Ridge Road
<br />to South City Line, by constructing and installing a five foot concrete
<br />public sidewalk on both sides thereof. It was moved by Mr. Crider, seconded
<br />by Mr. Bak®r, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be
<br />read immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. The
<br />affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Kramer,
<br />Neubauer, Porter, Schwenk. Thereupon, the ordinance was read the second
<br />and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon
