E. kiolmgren, 4848 Porter Rd,, requesting rclief on the assesment for the insfiallation of a water line on Nocth Park Drive as they will derive no benef i t from thi s 1 i rae as they al ready rec.es ve water from Porter Rd. and are now paying a water line assessment on Portier R.da °fhe Service Director edvised that he concuirs with the Engineer's recomme:ndation that Olmsted Cotony Sube Nos. 4 and 5 be dledicateeia The Service Directoa" advised that the Engineer hes recommended that the sidewalk permit fee be increased to $40a00 for 100 fta and for over 100 fto $40.00 plus $.40 per ft. This was turned over to the Legislative Commit.tee. T'he Service Directoo° requested authority too take bid5 for 500 tons of salt and 1,000 yards of cinders, Spreader Box with Spreader at an approximate cost of $2500.00o The Service Director's request for authoeii'z.ation to construct a stoa-age garage to house fourteen buses was turned over to the Finance Committee.. The Service Directoc"s re.quest for review of existing legislation concerning damage done to roadways by trucks hauling supplies and equipment for developments was turned over to the Legsslation Gommittee, The Service Director'c request for authorization to charge a fee for use of City rubbish trucks overnight was tucnesi over to the Safety and Health Committee. Ordinance No. 63-156 was given its second readingo Ordinance Noo 63-174 was introduced by Mr. 0'Neill. An ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 235-11-29 & 30 being an assessment for construction of a water line, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Mro 09Nei11, seconded by Mro Leonard, that the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read immeciiately the secorad and tlhird times and put on its passage.
