<br />Resolution No. 64-99 was introduced by Mr. Capter. A Resolution accepting a drainage
<br />easement through the property owned by Paul D. and Norma L. Marcie. Mr. Castex moved,
<br />seconded by Mr, Van Zandt, that the statu-tory rule be suspended and the nesolution
<br />be read immediately the second and third -times and put on its passage. The affirma-
<br />tive vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Hodgina, Leonard, Li.mpert, Mangani
<br />Van Zandt, West. Thereupon the resolution was read the second and thi.rd times and
<br />put on its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Caster, Hodgins
<br />Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt, West.
<br />Resolution No. 64-100 was introduced by Mr. jimpert. A Resolution supporting the
<br />position of County Auditor, Ralph J. Perk, in his attempt to protect the homeowner
<br />from any increase in taxes: Also requesting the Governor to call the Legislature
<br />into special session to take all posaible Steps necessary to prevent the increase in
<br />real estate taxes £or the homeowner which wi11 reault by the application of the
<br />recent Supreme Court decision in the case of the State ex rel the Park Investment
<br />Company vs. the Board of Tax Appeals et a,l, and declaring an emergency. Mr, Limpert
<br />moved, seconded by Mr. West; that the sta.tutory rule be suspended and the resolution
<br />be read immediately the second and third times and put nn its passage. The affirma-
<br />tive vote on said motion was as follows: Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani,
<br />Van Zandt, West. Thereupon the resoluticin was read the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage, and the affirmative vote thereon was ss follows: Caster,

<br />Mr. Leonard moved that the Clerk of Counr.il be dirveted to write to the Planning
<br />Commis s ion asking f or the ir recommendat ic>n on Counc il' s request f or a dec is ion on
<br />the set-back on Lorain Road to a minimum of ftfty Eeet. The motion was seconded
<br />by Mr. Limpert. "Yeas" Caster, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, Van Zandt,

<br />Mr. Mangani moved that Ordinance No. 64-94 be amended as follows: On Page 1,
<br />Section 4, the word "ten" be changed to "elevert"; that in the same section after
<br />"A Residence Distriet" and before "B Ree:idence District',', the words "Cluster
<br />Development in A Residence District" be :ineerted; tthoit in thetext paragraph the
<br />word "twelve" be changed to ':'thirteen"; 1that at the top of Page 2, the words '
<br />"Cluster Development in A Residence bistirict" be added $fter "A Residence District"
<br />and before "B Residence District", The motion waa 8econded by Mr. Caster, and the
<br />"Yeas" were Caeter, Hodgins, Leonard, Liinpert, Mangani, Van Zandt, Weat.
<br />The Clerk read a Notice to Construct Sii3ewalka Which had been drswn up. Mr. Weet
<br />then moved, seconded by Mrs. Hodgins, that the Natice to Construct Sidewalks be
<br />sent to prospective sidewalk buyers. "Yeas" Castes, Hodgina, Leonard, Limpert,

<br />With regard to Ordinance No. 62-226, since soare of the Council members were not
<br />familiar with the original action, Mr. Mangani moved that the Clerk be inatructed
<br />to furnish copies of the ordinance to Mrs. Hodgins and Mr. West,
<br />Mayor Christman requested that the reaidenta on 231st Street be notified that
<br />this matter was again coming up for passage,
<br />Mr. Caster reported that the Public Deyelopment Committee met on April 28th and
<br />reviewed the Welsch, Talp and Noreen subdivisions• With regard to Nareen, they
<br />recommend that improvement plans be h¢ld up until the ditch in the Candlelight
<br />Seetion is corrected, and the city has reCeived the deed for the lot they agreed
<br />?
<br />to donate to the City. They reviewed Talp, and reEOmiuend that it be held for the
<br />Engtneer's recommendation on the ditGh e-asement. The Engineer reports there is
<br />a diserepancy qn the easement. The sewe;r situation hs8 been taken care of. On
