w September 6, 1966-- Page 3 Mr. Mangani reported that a request for a one-year extension of a temporary road easemenf leading into North Park Subdivision has been requested. His committee r°ecommends granting the extension, provided, however, that the developer erects a sign stating that the road is temporary, and that the developer agrees to keep the road in good repair, in accordance with the standards set by the Safety-Service Directo!-, Mr. Philip Engoglia appeared to discuss the Councilts objection to his pro- posed liquor permit, which Councii voted againsto He asked for an opportunity at the next Council meeting to explain what was planned for the building, and explained that the plans originally drawn up had to be considerably revised due to the changes in the financing picture in the last few months. Mr. Edward Brewer, 4320 Bentley, asked about the placing of stop slgns at the corner of Bentley and Danberry, suggesting that there were other places in the area which also needed stop signe. Ne also asked for information as to storm sewers in the area, and President OtNei!p asked Mr. Watts and the City Engineer to meet with Mr. Brewere Mr. Raymond Dykes, 25136 Kennedy Ridge, asked whether the shoulder of the road on the north side from Columbia to proposed Route 252 was ffnished. Mro Ralph Cruikshank, 4305 Plumwood asked about the condition of storm sewer catch basins in his neighborhood, and also asked for information on the general grade in the area. He further complained about a vacant lot across the street from his house being used as a dump by the buiider. Mrs. Mary Miller, 5986 Park Ridge Drive, reported there is water standing in front of her drive winter and summer, due to improper grading, and asked for some relief. Mr. Robert Hagerty, 4353 Plumwood, reported a builder has run drain tile up to the east side of his lot, and ended it there. He was referred to the Building Department for a check of the area drainage plan. Mrs. Melvin Jackfert, 3920 West 237th Street, asked who signed the petition for changing the name of the street, and when. Ordinance. No, 66-131 was given its third reading. An Ordinance accepting for dedication West 237th Street from Reed Road to Elm Road, Deerpath Subdivision No. 4< Mr, Caster moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Mangani. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Foitz, Limpert, Mangani, West, Opposed, Mrs. Hodginse Resolution No. 66-135 was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Oimsted Board of Education for the transfer of land.
