His <br />committee r°ecommends granting the extension, provided, however, that the <br />developer erects a sign stating that the road is temporary, and that the <br />developer agrees to keep the road in good repair, in accordance with the <br />standards set by the Safety-Service Directo!-, <br />Mr. Philip Engoglia appeared to discuss the Councilts objection to his pro- <br />posed liquor permit, which Councii voted againsto He asked for an opportunity <br />at the next Council meeting to explain what was planned for the building, <br />and explained that the plans originally drawn up had to be considerably <br />revised due to the changes in the financing picture in the last few months. <br />Mr. Edward Brewer, 4320 Bentley, asked about the placing of stop slgns at <br />the corner of Bentley and Danberry, suggesting that there were other places <br />in the area which also needed stop signe. Ne also asked for information as <br />to storm sewers in the area, and President OtNei!p asked Mr. Watts and the <br />City Engineer to meet with Mr. Brewere <br />Mr. Raymond Dykes, 25136 Kennedy Ridge, asked whether the shoulder of the road <br />on the north side from Columbia to proposed Route 252 was ffnished. <br />Mro Ralph Cruikshank, 4305 Plumwood asked about the condition of storm sewer <br />catch basins in his neighborhood, and also asked for information on the <br />general grade in the area. He further complained about a vacant lot across <br />the street from his house being used as a dump by the buiider. <br />Mrs. Mary Miller, 5986 Park Ridge Drive, reported there is water standing in <br />front of her drive winter and summer, due to improper grading, and asked for <br />some relief. <br />Mr. Robert Hagerty, 4353 Plumwood, reported a builder has run drain tile up to <br />the east side of his lot, and ended it there. He was referred to the Building <br />Department for a check of the area drainage plan. <br />Mrs. Melvin Jackfert, 3920 West 237th Street, asked who signed the petition for <br />changing the name of the street, and when. <br />Ordinance. No, 66-131 was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Oimsted Board of Education <br />for the transfer of land.
