March I, l966 - Page 3 <br />phases of CATV. The Committee °s st?it siudying fhe matfier. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chairman of City P°anning Committee, reported on the meeting <br />held February 22nd. They doscussed the recommendation of the P9anning Com- <br />mission regardinq change of Lot Width Detinition in Paragraph 1125.50 of the <br />Zoning Code, and recommend to Councii thafi no changes be made. <br />On the matter of underground utifoTies they have tentativeiy decided on pep- <br />missive iegislation, but final recommendartions wiii be withheld until the <br />Planning Commission reports on their thinking on fhis problem. <br />Sands Subdivision Nos. i, 2, and 3 are being hefd in committee untii receipt <br />of the piat for Subdivision No. 4 containinq the totaf schooE and recreation <br />area accumulated under c.?'usfer zoning. <br />The Commettee also recommends that Secfil'on 10, Ordinance 64-95, be amended as <br />follows: <br />"The developer sha11 comp!ete the construction of all improvements withln two <br />(2) years from the date of approvaf by Council of the improvement plans, other- <br />wise the City shal? have fihe righfi to use fhe Performance Bond money to complete <br />or repair the improvements. The two-year period of consfiruction may be extended <br />by Council for good cause," <br />Safety-Service Director Limperr requested authority to advertise for bids for <br />installateon of a storm sewer on Decker, Porter and Burns. The request was <br />referred to the Finance Committee tor approva?. <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Buildinq Commissioner pertaining to action taken <br />on a petition received tor removai of buiVdings on Permanent Parcel No. 231-24-3 <br />and -4 at 23837 Maple Ridge. Mrso Hodgins moved thafi iegisiation be prepared <br />instructing the Buildinq Commissioner to proceed with demolition of the bui9dings <br />on the properfiy. Motion was seconded by Mr. Manqani. "Yeas" Caster, Eian,. <br />Foltz, Hodgins, Limperfi, Mangani, West, <br />Mr. Mangani reported fifi at the Law Director had been holding up on preparation cf <br />legislation approving 0lmsted Woods Subdivision for record purposes only, pend- <br />ing vacation of the record°snq of the plat for Beveriy Hills Subdivision No. 2. <br />Mr. Manganl has now received a letter from the developer's attorney stating tha * <br />the action has been taken to court and a hearing set for March 21st. Legisiation <br />can now be prepared. <br />Preliminary pians t"or property at Kennedy Ridqe and Columbia were presented on <br />behalf of Mr. DiBenedetto. <br />Mr. Ray Dykes, 25136 Kennedy Ridge, appeared to object to the installation of <br />sidewalks on Kennedy Ridge in the area where State Route 252 is scheduled to go <br />through. Mr. Caster agreed to arrange a meeting with Mr. Dykes and the Enqineer <br />to go into the matter more fully. <br />Mr. Michaei Scanlon appeared as attcrney for John Orosz who proposes to buiid <br />a motel on his property on Lorain Road which is presently zoned for industriai
