Mr. Foltz advised <br />that hIs committee now is studying the matter. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chalrman of the City Planning Commlttee, referred to a requesfi <br />contained in the Planning Commission minutes with regard to the Karl Keisel <br />Subdivision. The request was for the developer to bind himself forr a period <br />of five years to provide a drain along the easterly line should any drainage <br />problem occur within that period of time. Mr. Keisel who was present at the <br />Council meeting advlsed that he would furnish the Building Commissloner with a <br />letter within the next day or two. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of the Pubiic Service and Development Committee, reported <br />that they discussed the City Line Development at the west end of fiown where <br />they are re-routing a ditch, and the matter is still in committee. <br />000*1 Mr. Michael Scanlon, 4584 Martin Drive, addressed Council on behalf of his <br />r4w client, Mr.John Orosz, who had requested rezoning of a parcel on Lorain Road <br />for motel use. The requested was denied by the Planning Commission, and when <br />reviewed by the Regional Planning Commission, was advised against by that <br />organizatlon. Mr. Manqani pointed out that the City Planning Committee <br />does not normally go contrary to the Planning Commission recommendations, <br />but agreed to take the matter up at the next City Planning Committee meeting, <br />whlch Mr. Scanlon would be invited to attend. <br />Students from the High School Problems of Democracy Class who,were attending <br />the Council meeting were recognized by the President, and introduced themselves. <br />Ordinance No. 65-270 was given its second reading. An Ordinance estabfishing <br />the organizational sfructure for the Sewage Treatment Plant employees and <br />setting furth the remuneration to be received by the employees employed and <br />... declaring an emergency. Mr. West moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three separate readings of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Foltz. Affirmative <br />vofie thereon was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Mr. West then moved for adoption of the ordinance, seconded by Mr. Foltz. <br />Affirmative vote was Caster, Foltz, Hodgins, Leonard, Limpert, Mangani, West. <br />Ordinance No. 65-271 was given its second reading.
