They discussed the praposed weed ordinance, which the Assistant Law Director <br />was to report on. A rough draft of a conflict of interest ordinance is being <br />prepared. The question of legbslaticn for moving structures in North Olmsted is <br />still in committeeo <br />Mr, Limpert, Chairman, Transpr,rtatian GommYttee, regorted they have tentatively <br />set a meeting with Fairvfew f6r 3uly 13th for a discussion of the possibility <br />of a fare increase, <br />Mr. Caster, in the absence of Mr, West, Chairman of the Finance Committee, asked <br />whether there were any questions on the report of the Finance Committee meeting <br />which had been furnished to all members of Gouncil> There were no questions. <br />Mr. Mangani, Chairman, regorted the City Planning CommittEe meton June 22nd, with <br />the following action being taken: <br />Cottonwood Trail Subdivision - committee recommends approval and will request <br />legislation for record purposes; <br />Sands Subdivision - Preliminary Plat - committee recommends approval of plans with <br />change inlots on Root Road to 80 feet, but not requiring a cross street as <br />specified by the Planning Gommi.ssionr <br />• With respect to the Plannrng Commission's proposal to change the zoning on Lorain <br />Road in certain areas to A Residence or Multiple Dwelling, the committee is recom- <br />A"IN mending that the Planning Commission malce a survey of all the groperty owners who <br />would be affected by such changes and report back. <br />The committee recommends acceptance of the recommendations as to vacating portions <br />of Elmhurst and Broxbourne for the Metropolitan Park Board, with the exceptions <br />of Sublots 80 and 100. The committee recommends that if these parcels cannot be <br />obtained by the Park Board, that the proposed cul-de-sacs should be moved further <br />north to give owners access to thefr properties. <br />The committee recommends that the Preliminary Plat of Sandy Ridge #2 be approved. <br />The committee also recommends the re-zoning to Hi-Rise of the area known as Westerly <br />Towers, and recommends approval of the developer's original plan for four buildings, <br />rather than the revised plan appraved by the Planning Commission.
