<br />Mr. Eric Schwartz, representing Todd Cleaners, and speaking also on
<br />behalf of Capital National Bank, Cleveland Paint and Color, Saxon's
<br />and Uniroyal, called Council's attention to the traffic situstion on
<br />Lorain where the westbound curb lane has a continuous green arrow
<br />for traffic, which makes ingress and egress at the above locations
<br />extremely difficult.
<br />Mr. Robert Connor, Capital National Bank, also spoke about the traffic
<br />problem, and called attention to the fact that people making a left
<br />turn into this location cannot see the green arrow and assume they
<br />can enter the curb lane, with a result that near-accidents are frequent.
<br />Mr. Stedman, representing Saxon's, stated that they have employed
<br />auxiliary police in order to get their customers in and out more safely.
<br />Mr. Robert Smithers, 6586 Nancy Drive, commented that he felt too many
<br />special interest groups were asking for and getting traffic lights
<br />installed on Lorain.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-97 was given its second reading, as amended. An
<br />Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 65-59 (Codified Ordinances of the
<br />City of North Olmsted, Chapter 945, Section 945.06) effective March
<br />2, 1965, and amending Ordinance No. 66-298 (Codified Ordinance of the
<br />City of North Olmsted, Chapter 945, Section 945.06) effective December
<br />7, 1966, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-112 was given its second reading. An Ordinance authoriz-
<br />ing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or removal
<br />of the dwelling on Permanent Parcel No. 235-6-29, Kennedy Ridge Road,
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-120 was introduced by Mr. Caster. An Ordinance authoriz-
<br />ing and directing the cancellation of special assesaments on certain
<br />permanent parcels being an assessment for construction of a sanitary
<br />sewer lateral, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Caster moved for suspen-
<br />sion of the rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr.
<br />Prokasy. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller,
<br />Prokasy, West, Mr. Caster then moved for adoption, seconded by Mr.
<br />Prokasy. Affirmative vote was Caster, Eian, Hodgins, Limpert, Miller
<br />Prokasy, West.
<br />Ordinance No. 68-121 was introduced by Mr. West. An Ordinance authoriz-
<br />ing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on certain
<br />permanent parcels beiiAg an assessment for preparation of plans and speci-
<br />fications for sanitary sewers, and declaring an emergency. Mr. West
<br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three separate readings,

<br />Limpert, Prokasy, West. Mr. West then moved for adoption, seconded
