<br />Mr, Peter Markoff of the Spade Builders addressed Council asking what objectioc?s
<br />were to their requested rezoning, also asking if it would change the situat±on
<br />of the back land was just used for parking purposes. Mr. Prokasy replied to
<br />his questions and said that this had also been discussed, but commit*ee just
<br />did not feel the land should be used in this way.
<br />David Cermak, 4489 Clague Road, spoke for his grandfather, Mr. Carl Homera9
<br />asking details on Council's reasons for not feeling responsibility for' one
<br />of the plumbing invoices on Mr. Homen's property. Mr. West, chairman of
<br />the Finance Committee, says the committee does not feel that it is an obliga-
<br />tion of the City. The City provides for inspection on any kind of projecz,
<br />but the contract is between the home owner and the sewer contractor. It is
<br />a private contract. The Law Director said the City does not guarantee worlc
<br />of inspector or the contractor in any way, although we do our very best to
<br />have work done correctly but are definitely not liable.
<br />Mrs. J. A. Brown, 5352 Evergreen Drive, spoke for herself and neighbors abouk
<br />the new service station at West Park Drive, asking if there was any restric-
<br />tion at all as to the number of trucks that can park there at one timee Mrsa
<br />Hodgins said there was to be a meeting of all Council April 9th at 8°00 pom..,
<br />specifically on the subject of junk cars. Mrs. Brown's inquiry will be dis=
<br />cussed and minutes of ineeting sent to her.
<br />Mro Caster moved that action on Ordinance No. 68-7 be postponed until May 21ste

<br />Ordinance No. 68-37, introduced by Mr. Miller, was given its third reading.
<br />An Ordinance requiring a permit for opening streets and a deposit to pay the
<br />cost of repaving and restoring streets to its original condition. Mr, hliller
<br />moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative vote was Caster,
<br />Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West.

<br />An Ordinance establishing the accumulated "Sick Leave" policy and the regu-
<br />lations governing accumulated "Sick Leave" for all ernployees in all departm
<br />ments of the City of North Olrnsted, but excluding therefrom Department Heads
<br />and elected officials. Mr. Miller moved for adoption, seconded by Mro Limpert.
