He also mentioned a drainage problem <br />at the back of his lot. <br />Mr. James Boehmer, 28570 North Park Drive, asked about the unfinished <br />building on North Park, about which he had previously talked to Council. <br />The Law Director advised that he has been in contact with the attorneys <br />for the plaintiff and the defendant, and that an agreement should be <br />reached within the next week, at least permitting the builder to board <br />up the foundation. <br />Mr. Limpert moved to amend Ordinance No. 67-70 -to read "effective July <br />1, 1967" wherever it appears. Motion was seconded by Mr. Foltz. "Yeas" <br />Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani. <br />Ordinance No. 67-70 was given its second reading, as amended. An Ordinance <br />to supplement the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted by enact- <br />ing an income tax comprising Sections 1501.0101 to 1501.2702, both inclusive, <br />and levying a tax to provide funds for the purposes of general municipal <br />functions on all salaries, wages, commissions and other compensations <br />earned by residents of the City of North Olmsted; on all salaries, wages and <br />commissions and other compensations earned by non-residents in the City of <br />North Olmsted; on the net profits earned on all businesses, professions or <br />other activities conducted by the residents of the City of North Olmsted; <br />on the net profits earned on all businesses, professions or other activities <br />conducted in the City of North Olmsted by non-residents; and all the net <br />profits earned by a11 corporations doing business in the City of North Olmsted <br />as the result of work done or services performed or rendered in the City <br />of North Olmsted; requiring the ffl ing of returns and furnishing of informa- <br />tion by employers and all those subject to said tax; imposing on employers <br />the duty of collecting the tax at the source and paying the same to the <br />City of North Olmsted; providing for the administration, collection and <br />enforcement of said tax; declaring violation thereof to be a misdemeanor <br />and imposing penalties therefor. <br />Resolution No. 67-123 was given its second reading. A Resolution authoriz- <br />ing the Director of Public Service and Public Safety to advertise for bids <br />for 1500 tons of cinders and 1500 tons of sale. <br />Resolution No. 67-131 was introduced by Mr. Foltz. A Resolution authorizing <br />the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Cedar <br />Point and Columbia Roads, said traffic control signals to be furnished by <br />the United States Government Agency National Aeronautics and Space Adminis- <br />tration, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Foltz moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirma- <br />tive vote was Eian, Foltz, Hodgins, Limpert, Mangani. Mr. Foltz then moved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. Limpert.
