The Committee feels these measures should <br />alleviate some of the prablens at this interseetion, but does not <br />recomnend at this time the installatioa of suy cautioa light. <br />At this time President O'Neill asked Mr. Karhan whether the Blosaom <br />Land bond for ParkWOOd Develogmeat has bsen released. Mr. Rsrhan replied <br />the bond runs to December, 1970. Fresident O'Neill steted the reasan the <br />question was asiced ia becauae thep originaliy planted treea in tree lawm <br />and these trees did not take ho1d. Mr. O'Neill talked to Mr. Watts who <br />saw to it that the dead trees were raplaced, but in manq csaes they re- <br />placed them with other dead trees, and rather than to have the Citq liable <br />for replacing same, Mr. Q`Neili feels the Citp shauld hold their moneq <br />until live trees are replanCed. <br />President O'Neill al.so referred to t4r. Grady's Legislative Committee a <br />Ietter relative to a Resalution receatly paaaed in Braotcpark, and asking <br />tha City to join in a request to the Federal Government for an Interstate <br />Abatenent Conference under the Clean Air Act of 1967. <br />At this time the Clerk of Coancil read a letter from iir. Earl J. Timothy, <br />29863 Broxbourne Rosd, wherein Mr. Tinathp requested Counci2 to recansider <br />his request for extension of swer lateral to his home lot line. President <br />O'Neill stated the letter will be taken undar advisement and then ssked <br />Mayor Christman if he cared to respond to statemesit addressed to him in <br />letter. <br />Mayor Christman said at the time the force main was installed they had <br />vitrified lateral pipe in and the blasting danaged that gipe and they <br />had to replace it. They had already blasted for the "Y" Gonnection <br />for the line in Broxbourne, and in order to relocate it again furCher <br />blasting would have been necessarq to run the lateral in, and the blast- <br />ing had al.ready been done. It wasn't tMat the lateral cauid not be re- <br />located - it was located there at Mr. Timoth$s request in the first place. <br />Mr. Prokasy referred to comment in Mr. TimoChy's Ietter that he is <br />entitled to the same consideration recentlq given to North Park Drive <br />builders. Mr. Prokasy belleves alI are given equal consideratian. In <br />the North Park area the sewers were extended to the owner`s property <br />line. The area Mr. Timothy is apparently questioning is City progerty. <br />People addressing Couacil: <br />Mr. Earl J. Timothy, 29863 Broxbourne, discusaed the laCeral and "Y" <br />connection on his property. Felt the Mayor's iapressfon is in error, <br />regarding the blasting. "tayor Christiaan said he will recheck the matter. <br />There should be logs to show whether this had to be blasted. <br />Mr. Kurt Richards, of the Planning Commission, addressed Council cra <br />Apk. proposed Brookpark Extension - and rezoning. Mr. Richards explained the <br />VAW propoeals in detail. He stated he caanted Council and the memhers of the <br />Audience to underatand fu11y xt?at this means to the City of North Olmsted. <br />
