They approved the SDC Subdivi- <br />sion as revised. Mre Prakasy stated tfitat the Design & Platting Comn,ittee <br />has agreed to meet with residents of Deckex Road before taking any action. <br />There is legislation on aQenda tonight fqr MeCrone Subdivision but thfs is <br />to be held up because of question which has arisen regarding ac:cess to <br />subdivisi.on. <br />The following people addressed Council: <br />Mrm Roger Alexander, 5091 Douglas Drive, spoke abaut continuafion of shcrt <br />wesght meat,. Mr. Alexander said he thought sueh legislation woulci <br />be helpful in North Olmsted, Mr. West gsked if County preempts City in <br />weights and measures. Assistant Law DireGtor Lord said he would be glad <br />co make astudy as to whether we can get inCo Chis territory, Mym Saest zx- <br />plained that the City has certain restrictions as to what ir can get into <br />since some matters are taken care of by County, same by State, etc. He re- <br />minded Council that the Mayor inspected qertAin stores with tihe County Inspec;- <br />tor about a year agor Mayor Christman said that while he would not say that <br />short weight does not occur in N. Olmsted, they certainly did not find evi- <br />dence when checking. The Mayox said he thinks any merchandiser should be <br />willing to reweigh packages, if requested to dp so. <br />Mrs. Gladys Zipp, 29658 Lorain Road, inquired if any dppoincments had been <br />made as yet on committee to study Lorain Rpad zoning problems. Mayor said <br />not as yet and possibly not until end of year: <br />Mrs. Lockhart, 5519 Decker Road, inquired w?en meeting mentioned by Mr. Pra- <br />kasy would take place. Mr. Prokasy set date for Tuesday, October 28th, 8:00 <br />p.m? <br />A gentleman residing at 6725 Nancy Drive mentioned stand of water at Naney <br />and Louanns He asked that it be corrected before dedication of subdivision- <br />Service Director Watts indicated that it would be taken care of soon, <br />NirF D. Kaperak, 4500 Westview Drive, spake about condition of vacant l.ots on <br />Westviewe AfteY same discussion with the Mayor, Mr. Kaperak was told it would <br />help if he could get license numbers of people dumping material in vacant lvts. <br />Resolution No. 69-167 was given its second reading, "A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to accept the oil and gas rights £or Block B in the Sandy Ridge <br />Subdivision No. 4." <br />Ordinance No, 69-110 was given its secor?d reading, "An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or removal of the <br />dwellings on Permanent Parcel No. 232-17-12, Porter Road, Narth Olmsted, Ohio." <br />
