<br />The following residents addressed Couneil:
<br />Mr, L. Lawson, 5495 Decker Road, said he has owned his home six years
<br />and has had five flooded basements in the six years, The creek running
<br />thru area seems to be a primary cause of trouble.
<br />Mr, W. Riegler, 23938 Delmere Drive, talked about the dog prob.lem mentioned
<br />in petition just submitted- He said he coulci not go around his property with-
<br />out the dog attempting to attack him,
<br />Mr. P. J- Healey, 23933 nelmere Drive, Ca1ked about this problem also, also
<br />mentioning the breeding of dogs. Mr. Healey has had to replace exnensive
<br />shrubs because of dogs The dogs howl all night,
<br />Mrs. Shirley Wren, 23921 Amesbury, said the Police Department has been noti-
<br />fied of this situation- The odor is so bad they cannot use their patia-
<br />Law Director Kitchen advised people that they should sign an affadavit to
<br />this effect: regarding noi.se, offensive odors, etc., but until they do this
<br />nothing can be done,
<br />Mrs. W. Riegler, 23938 Delmere Drive, spoke of the seriousness of this situa-
<br />tion in the neighborhoodr
<br />Miss Ann Bauer, 23917 Delmere Drive, said at least one dog is really vicious,
<br />David Blain, 23936 Amesbury, the neighborhood paper boy, reiterated all that
<br />had been said about the dogs, and sympathized with neighbors.
<br />Mre P. Karlomas, 24281 North Oxford Oval, spoke about flooding of his base-
<br />ment for last three years. Service Director Watts promised to have someone
<br />check elevations tomorrow again.
<br />Mra James Boehmer, 28570 North Park, spoke for residents of area about build-
<br />ing at 4539 Martin Drive, at corner of Oring> They feel this home should be
<br />torn down, People are looking at this building to buy, but residents in area
<br />feel it should be condemned; no one has used it for almost a year now, Mr.
<br />Eian said the Safety, Health & Welfare Committee wi11 investigate situation.
<br />Mr. J. Webster, 6001 Sherwood, asked about status of proposed rezoning, Mr,
<br />Prokasy replied it is still in committee. Hopes to have legislation for next
<br />Council meeting, and after that a Public Hearing date will have to be set.
<br />Mre Webster also inquired about status of request on Sinclair station, which
<br />had been rejected by Board of Zoning Appeals. The Law Director said it de-
<br />pended on whether it was a request for a speciaZ permit or an appeal from
<br />Building Commissioner. If from Buil.ding Commissioner, it could go to Court;
<br />if appeal for special permit, Council could override decisione Mr. Prokasy
<br />mentioned that the attorney for Sinclair said he would take legal action.
<br />Mr. Eian said variance was turned down because of lack of hardship.
<br />Mre W. Bemmer, 24357 Maria Lane, questioned Council about several matters
<br />in regard to recent f'looding conditions - why pumps were not operating at
<br />lift station, etc.
<br />Mr. Badnoroski, 3426 Walter Rd,, has lived in area for five years. He has
