<br />Council Minutes of 12-19-72 -3- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 72-170 introduced by Mr. Lampert was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to refund a $744.27 sewer <br />rental charge to A b P Tea Co. Store, 24485 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, maned <br />by Mr. Dan Romp, 6177 Creekside Lane, North Ridgeville, Ohio. Mr. Lampert moved <br />for adoption of Resolution, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, <br />Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Abstain: Giesser. Motion carried. <br />Res. No. 72-170 adopted. <br />Mr. Giesser explained he abstained from voting because Mr. .Romp has been a client <br />of his on other matters. <br />Ordinance No. 72-198 introduced by Mr. Speedling was given its secodd reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demo- <br />lition or removal of the dwellings on permanent parcel No. 235-11-16, Lorain <br />Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 72-199 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to release the State of Ohio from sny <br />responsibility far storm waters which are drained from the Great Northern <br />Shopping Center Developments and of further accept from the Great Northern <br />Partnership a release of respons~.bility to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 72-200 was introduced by Mr. Lampert. An Ordinance transferring <br />appropriations and making additional appropriations for current expenses and <br />other expenditures foz the City of North Olmsted, Ohio for the year ending <br />December 31, 1972. Mr. Lampert moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />separate readings, ascended by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giesser, <br />Lampert, Prokasy, Beringer, Speedling, West. Mr. Limpert.maveci for adoption of <br />Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Baehmer. Affirmative vote Boehmer, Giesser, Lampert, <br />Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Ord. No. 72-200 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. West discussed with Mayor t~ristman the Rockside Landfill. Court ruled in <br />favor of Rockside because the suit was filed against the former owner instead <br />of the present. At Regional Planning Commission meeting (December 19th) the <br />fourth interim report of County Task Force on solid waste disposal came up. <br />Seth Taft, member of the Board, asked if the communities would be interested <br />in some sort of agree~aent with the County in the future. Nothing definite yet - <br />will have a concrete recommendation for County Commissioners to co~ider within <br />two months. Discussion continued. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked status on Barclay Square Apartments. Mr. West said final <br />improvement plans have not been submitted. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked status on Manor Care Nursing Home. Has received ccrlaints <br />about vandalism; building partially boarded up. Mayor Christi believe a permit <br />has been applied for but does not know what the delay in construction is.
