Council Minutes of 10-17-72 -3- <br />2) Reviewed plans of Halleen Ford Trailer Display area at corner of McKenzie <br />& Lorain Rd. A plan had previously been approved but since that t_i~~l•-: <br />Halleen Ford has purchased corner lot on McKenzie & Lorain Rd. and e~:~~,~..~ded <br />the area including the parking loC; also is installing a road in back of <br />this property out to McKenzie Rd, Committee met with property ok~zers and <br />their only request was that a fence be installed an the back of this property <br />such as is on the side r_ow. Cattee is in receipt of letter from Halleen <br />Ford stating that they will install such a fence. <br />Mr. West made a motion that Council approve the parking lapout of Halleen <br />Ford Trailer Display. Motion was seconded by Mr. Limpert. Affirmative <br />vote: Boehmer, Giessen, Limpert, Prokasy, Saringer, West. Motion carried. <br />3) Two other subdivisions have been proposed, one along Stearns Rd. and the <br />other along Hastings Dr. Action has been deferred until Committee can talk <br />to the neighboring property owners. <br />4) Mr. West reminded everyone of meeting on October 23, 1972, with developer <br />and residents of GJest 23l St. in connection with Barkley Square Apartments. <br />Mr. Prokasy, Chairman Streets ~ Drainage Committee, and Recreation, Public <br />Parks & Building Committee, reported on behalf of the Streets ~ Drainage <br />Committee regarding the 5 mill levy on ballot this Fa11 concerning storm <br />water drainage thxoughout the City. Mr. Prokasy has made appearances before <br />eight different organizations and at this point has eight more scheduled. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Mike Violi, 4510 Dover Center Rd., requested the Clerk of Council <br />notify him when the Consent Ordinance far Stearns Road is to appear on <br />the Agenda, and that his request become apart of the official record. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 72-159 introduced by Mr. West was givren its third reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Kugler Subdivision. <br />Mr. West moved for adoption of Resolution, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Affirmative vote: Bvehm~er, Giesler, Limpert, Prokasy, Saringer, t3est. <br />Motion carried. Resolution No. 72~-159 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 72-162 introduced by Mr. blest was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for record purposes only the Homberg Subdivision. <br />Resolution No. 72-170 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first <br />reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to refund a <br />$744.27 sewer rental charge to A & P Tea Co. Store, 24485 Lorain Road, <br />North Olmsted, Domed by Mr. Dan Romp, 6177 Creekside Lane, North Ridgeville, <br />orio. <br />Resolution No. 72-171 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first <br />reading, A Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to refund <br />$272.05 sewer rental charge to Daniel J. Haynes, 4973 Hampton Drive, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 72-172 was introduced by Mr. Limpert. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for five new police cars. <br />
