<br />for North Olmsted Arms Medical Bldg.
<br />President O'Neill and Council Members recogni2ed Jackie Ward, immediate Past
<br />President of Comtaunity Council, for excellent job performed in 1973.
<br />LEGISLATION:
<br />Ordinance No. 73-129 introduced by Mr. Giesler was given its third reading.
<br />An Ordinance amending Part 5, entitled "General Offenses Code", Chapter 517,
<br />entitled, "Health, Safety and Sanitation", Section 517.07, entitled "Littering
<br />and Deposit of Garbage, Rubbish, Junk, Automobiles, Etc.", Subparagraph C, of
<br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Giessen moved for
<br />adoption, seconded by Mrs. Saringer. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert,
<br />Prokasy, Saring er, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Ord. No. 73-129 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 73-137 introduced by Mr. Speedling was given its third reading.
<br />An Ordinance authorising the Mayor to employ appraisers for the purpose of
<br />determining the value of real estate necessary to construct a recreation complex.
<br />Mr. Speedling moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Boehmer,
<br />Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Ord. No.
<br />73-137 adopted.
<br />Resolution No. 73-78 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. A
<br />Resolution accepting for record purposes only the re-subdivision of Zehman-Wolf
<br />and Sherman Construction Company's subdivision Nos. 1 and 2, the relocating of
<br />streets contained therein, and repealing Ord. No. 2354, enacted August 21, 1956,
<br />and Ord. No. 2413, effective December 18, 1956.
<br />Resolution No. 73-140 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its second reading.
<br />A Resolution requesting all municipalities and elected offic~.als of Northern
<br />Ohio to help prevent any further runway extension at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
<br />Ordinance No. 73-142 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reacting. An
<br />Ordinance accepting for dedication Sparky Lane (500 lineal feet) beginning at
<br />Lorain Road Northward to Brookpark Road Extension and Brookpark Road Extension
<br />(2200 lineal feet) beginning at Dover Center Road eastward to property owned by
<br />Capital National Bank. Mr. West moved for suspension of rule requiring three
<br />separate readings, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Giesler,
<br />Lampert, Prokasy, Saringer, Speedling, West. Mr. West moved for adoption,
<br />seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Giessen, Lampert, Prokasy,
<br />Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Ord. No. 73-142 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 73-143 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance to appropriate the fee simple interest in certain described real estate
<br />for the opening of an extension of Brookpark Road, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 73-145 introduced by Mr. Giessen was given its second reading.
<br />An Ordinance establishing Chapter 1303 of Part Thirteen, Title One of the Codified
<br />Ordinances, entitled "Heat and Air Conditioning Insulation Standards".
