Council Minutes of 10-2-73 <br />-4- <br />3) Preli~ainary Subdivision plans of Karl Kiesei on Barton Rd. which had been <br />rejected by Planning Con~ission. Proposal was to realign four lots to seat <br />standards but leave backland vacant without development except far one possible <br />roadway. Committee decided to defer action until discussed with proposed developers. <br />Mr. Prokasy, Chairman Streets & Drainage Committee and Recreation, Public Parks <br />& Recreation Committee, scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee Meeting on <br />October 9, 2973, 7:30 P.H., City eels, and requested prese~tce of Service Director, <br />Public Wo3rks Coa^aiasioner a~ Engfa~riag Department representatiare. Spereific <br />itemBr to be discussed are sida+aalks that have been petitioned for I~artcm+t Goad; <br />drainage problem that exists involving 12 homes -rear yards of McKenzie and <br />Forest Ridge Drive. <br />Re Recreation -presentation on proposed ice rink - swia®ing pool complex gill <br />be presented immediately folloiting Council Meeting. It is a proposal from a <br />consulting firm to the Recreation Coamfssion. It is being made here tonight so <br />th~'~ Council may be ac{are of what is under consideration in the Recreation <br />Co-,rmission. <br />President O'Pleill and Council recognized seven young men f-.:nm Cub Scout Pack X53 <br />in audience. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Robert Eagleson, Manager patiotsal City Bank, 26440 Lorain Rd. requested <br />Council to convey to the Police Department the appreciation of all of the bankers <br />in the area for the outstanding work the Polies Department did in apprehending <br />the late bank robber who attested to successfully rob Natiaual City Bank. <br />Mr. Joseph Corrigan, 6369 Bruton Drive, addressed Council at length in comaection <br />with Stearns Road Extension. Mscusaion fol3owed. <br />Mr. James Raitsnyder, 4959 Hampton Drive, addressed Council regarding Stearns <br />Road Extension. <br />Councilwoman Saringer suggested a B.Z.&D. Committee meeting next week and <br />legislation on Stearns Rd. come up at nee Council Meeting. Discussion followed, <br />with Mr. West detailing all that has transpired. <br />Mr. Ron Wilamosky, 6443 Surrey Drive, addressed Council on Stearns Road Extension <br />and its relationship to tiestlake. <br />Mr. Michael Violi, 23855 David Drive, addressed Council, in connection with Stearns Rid. <br />Mr. Richard Bershey, 23886 Amesbury Drive, addressed Cotutcil regarding incinerators <br />at Delmere Arms. Mrs. Beringer explained what has transpired. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 73-37 introduced by Mr. Prokasy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorising the Mayor to enter into an agreemsnt with the I4orth Olmsted <br />Board of Education for the trar~rsfer of land. Mr. Prokasy maned for adoption, <br />seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirdative vote: ~ehmer, Giesler, Limpert, Prokasy, <br />Saringer, Speedling, West. Motion carried. Res. No. 73-37 adopted. <br /> <br />
