Countq ~gineer poiatted out he has an absolute desitline in <br />order to use Issue #1 funds -money has to be coasdated bq the end of 1974. <br />There is the engineering to do, cotwent ordin~~s, taking and awarding of <br />bids, etc., and he feels if the Nasoluton from Gomussio~rs and G~dsent <br />Ordinances from c itiies is not dome in the ne~ct few months that he has <br />lost the battle of tisoe. Mr. Lisrpert read taro letters: one urging <br />him to vote against the Stearns Rd. extension, and one urging hie to vote for <br />the Stearns Rd. esteemion. Mr. Lia~+ert stated this is aihp he is in accord <br />with Mr. West that the initiative petition should be considered. <br />Mr. Prokasy, Chairman Streets & Drainage Comsittee, and Recreation, Public <br />Parks 6 Building Committee, reported an Streets & Drainage Costiattee there <br />is legislation on agenda pertaining to lsrrying of assessments for cvr~trtaction <br />of sid~ralks on Rout Rd., West Park, North Park, Col~ia, Maple Ridge, Bauet <br />Park, Terrace Drive. There was one objection to aasesssaent reaitved by City. <br />Council let as an Equali«rattion Esard as~i voted th#s objection Ott be accepted. <br />That this person who objsct~ed was beieg treated the same as all other people <br />assessed for sidewalks aaee! had no special oanditions in his case to allow any <br />reduction in the assessed figure. <br /> <br />
