Council Minutes of 12-3-74 <br />_2_ <br />1, 1974, and discussed following: 1) installation of a 6 ft. wood slatted fence <br />at Kuhlman Olds and it is Committee' reccndation that there be installed on <br />the residents' side of Kuhlman Oldsmobile a 6 ft. wood slatted fence. <br />Mr. Giesler moved that Council approve the installation on the residents' side of <br />Kuhlman Oldsmobile a 6 ft. wood slatted fence. Motion seconded by Mr. West. <br />rr. West stated he understa~ads a 6 ft. fes:ce has already been approved - all we <br />are doing 3s adding the slats. Mr. Giesler affirmed same; also stating this is <br />not the tota3. landscaping design. They are coming back with further design on <br />the lands caging with respect to trees, etc. Mr. Wilamosky asked with the addition <br />of slats is this an amendment to the previous plan. Mr. Giessen stated yes. <br />Roll Call on Motion: Affirmative vote: Giessen, Coggin, Limpert, Beringer, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />2) North Olmsted Baptist Church - addition of a Sunday School and Committee <br />recommends approval of parking. <br />Mr. Giessen moved that Council approve the parking for the North Olmsted Baptist <br />Church, seconded by Mr. Coggin. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Coggin, Lampert, <br />Beringer, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />3) Long Range Bicycle Plan was discussed by Committee: <br />Mr. Giesler awed that Council approve the Long Range Bicycle Plan as submitted <br />by Planning Commission. 2~btion secosuied by Mrs. Beringer. Mr. West questioned <br />if we would have to have a different category on the Zoning Map to show bicycle <br />paths, stating reasons therefor. M:~;gr~r discussed sates stating for the meat part <br />it is using the existing right of ways, etc.; could be super imposed on any map <br />of the City. Law Director Gateau commented he would say that bicycle trails is <br />not a use as one would think of in terms of the Zoning Code. It probably would <br />not be a bad idea to super impose it on a map once it is adopted by Cou~tcil; but <br />as the Mayor has stated it utilises Quite a bit of existing streets and sdes-alks. <br />Mr. Giessen stated he would amend his motion to request that it be super imposed <br />on the City Plot Plans. <br />Mr. Giesler moved that Council approve the Lang Range Bicycle Plan as submitted <br />by Planning Commission and that it be super imposed on the City Plot Plana. Motion <br />seconded by "ins. Beringer. Affirmative vote: Giesler, Goggsin, Lampert, Beringer, <br />West, Wi:.amosky. Motion carried. <br />4) Committee also discussed preliminary the Comprehensive Plan and decided to <br />have a meeting on December I4, 1474, 10:00 a.m., City Hall, requesting the presence <br />of a Member from the Cttiaesns Advisory Committee, Plarn-ia$ Coma:ission and a rspre- <br />sentative from Regional Planning CoesAission: and would also like to invite all <br />Members of Council to be present during this meeting if they so chose. <br />Mr. Lampert, Chairman Finance Coneei.ttee, reported following: 1) regarding Res. <br />No. 74-I54 - contract with the County Board of Health. There was not time to <br />discuss this in a Gosmeittee but was discussed with members of Council. The sunn <br />• for health service has increased over last year.
