Counci], Minutes of 12-3-?4 <br />-5- <br />Resolution No. 74-157 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution requesting the Legislature of the State of Ohio to amend Chapters <br />4301 and 4303 of the Ohio Revised Code, sere specifically Sections 4301.03 (G) <br />4301.28 and 4303.292{A) {2} (a), of the Ohio Revised Code relative to certain <br />aspects of liquor control laws. <br />Ordinance Na. 74-158 introduced by Mr. Giesler was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance accepting an aaat to be used for the installation of utilities <br />to service the Recreation Center on Iand situated on Canterbury Road an the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an aaerg~sncp. <br />Ordinance No. 74-159 introduced by Mr. Giessen was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance accepting an easem~t to be us~i for the installation of utilities <br />to service the Recreation Center on land situated on Canterbury Road in the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an emerp~ency. <br />Ordinance No. 74-160 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given fts second reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Buildisg Carmeaiasioaer to proceed with the demolition <br />or removal of the detached barn located on permanent parcel No. 232-3I-5, Root <br />Road, "Korth Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Ordinance No. 74-lbl was introduced by Mr. Giessen and given its ffrat reading. <br />An Ordinance vacating 35 feet of an existing 50 foot right-of-way easemt on <br />three parcels of lend located on North Park Drive, which said 35 feet is no longer <br />needed for street purposes. <br />Resolution No. 74-I62 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and gives its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the 8ervica Director to advertise for bids for the <br />grouting of a portion of Willett Drive, and authorizing the Mayor to contract <br />for saw, and declaring an e~rgeacy. I~kr. GE-g#ziA said this is in easx'gancy statue be- <br />cause as he reported last Council Heating the Engineering Dept. found a very <br />serious deficaencq in the under structure of this road, and inasmuch as it is on <br />emergency and a deterrent to the safety of the people - would like to recommend <br />Council suspend the rule requiring three separate readings. <br />Mr. Lampert wathdrew his motion to introduce and piece on first reading R+ss. No. <br />74-162 and deferred to Mr. Goggin's recommendation. <br />Resolution No. 74-Ib2 was introduced by Mr. Goggin. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Service Birector to advertise for bids for the grouting of a portion of <br />Willett Drive, and authorising the Mayor to contract for ease, and dasclaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Goggin moved for suspension of rule zequiring three serrate <br />readings, seconded by Mr. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Gieaser, Goggin, Li~ert, <br />Saringer, West, Wilanroskp. Mr. Coggin moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Lampert. <br />Affirmative vote: Giesler, Coggin, Lampert, Saringer, West, Wilanwsky. Motion <br />carried. Res. No. 74-162 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 74-163 was introduced by Mr. Giessen and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Service Directoz to advertise for bids for the <br />construction quad assembly of a pollution abatement burner for the north Olmsted <br />Sanitary Treatment Plant, end authorizing the Mayor to contract for sasbe. <br />Mr. Giesler requested Res. Mo. 74-1fi3 be referred to Committee. President O'Neill <br />referred same to Committee. <br /> <br />
