Council Minutes of 11-6-74 -3- <br />2) on October 24th Committee discussed possible acquisition of scm~ additional <br />parkland along Maple School and Clague Park; and the Mayor is checking exactly <br />what it would cost the City; <br />3)discussed St. Brendan Subdivision which is division of one parcel into two <br />lots and legislation for same is on agenda; <br />4) there was a question brought up regarding Brendan Woods Subdivision which <br />is another subdivision into 33 lots. Crts.wittea is holding on this. Does not <br />know how legislation appeared taA ag~tda and will move to postpone at proper time: <br />S) xe - PTorth Olmgt~ Luober addition: Coms~i.ttee rectaends approval subject to <br />an easement from the City along the bus garage for draina~ pipe. <br />Mr. Giessen moved to approve Aiorth Olmsted Lumber addition subject town easement <br />from the Citq along the bus garage far drainage pipe, seconded by Mr. Goggin. <br />Affirmative vote: Giessen, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />b) discussed Savings & Loan Building which is adjacent to Cleary Realty and <br />Committee recommends appren*al. <br />Mr. Giessen caved to approve parking sad layout of the Savings & Loan Building <br />subject to the following iteems: 1) a satisfactory underground retentitm system; <br />2) speed traffic control bumps - two of them at driveway location and the location <br />of them are subject to Building Dteparta~t approval. I~otiou seconded by Mr. <br />Goggin. Location of structure texplaioed; also speed bumps are to be located in <br />both drives. Ro11 call on Motion: Affirmative vote:. Giessen, Gog$in, Lampert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamcrsky. Motion carried. <br />7) re - Azalea - Oring Drive lot which City originally had old pumping station <br />which is now taken off. Committees recomisands City sell the property to the best <br />bidder. Till request legislation if we do not already have it; <br />8) scheduled a B.Z.& D. Committee Meeting on Novte~er 12, 1974, g:30 P.M., City Hall. <br />9) City is May approved the Chxgaler Car Dealership and the 15 ft. planting <br />strip to the west of the property along the residential side of the properties. <br />A month and one-half ago were requested by the developer through a letter that <br />the people along that side lot wanted to maintain some lilac trees that were <br />already there. City investigated and Cosneittee has in writing from four of the <br />six owners that they would like the present existing tehrubbes~y left but supple- <br />mented wh®re vacant areas are with evergree~as and/or lilacs fa the 1S ft. planting <br />strip. Committee recomsends same. <br />Mr. Giessen moved that Council allow the change in the planting of the ZS ft. <br />buffer strip as per request by the adjacent residents in that area, seconded by <br />Mr. Goggin. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, <br />West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Li~ert, Chairman Pfnante Committee, reported Committee met and discussed <br />following items: 1) sanitation t,v. unit picked up a flaw in the systems in <br />area of punter and Deerfield Drives. Had to make emergency rtspairs in amount <br />of $2,103. Repairs have been made and will request legislation to pay for <br />same; <br />2) reviewed legislation pertaining to salary of Secretary to Boards and Planning <br />Commissitsn. Safety Director to funish a job descriptit~ of position and this <br />will be discussed further at next Pittance Gneasi.ttee metering; <br />3} discussed revising organisat~.onal chart of Treataent Plant and approval was <br />made. Wi).1 rtsquest legislation for same. <br /> <br />
