Council Minutes of 11-6-74 -3- 2) on October 24th Committee discussed possible acquisition of scm~ additional parkland along Maple School and Clague Park; and the Mayor is checking exactly what it would cost the City; 3)discussed St. Brendan Subdivision which is division of one parcel into two lots and legislation for same is on agenda; 4) there was a question brought up regarding Brendan Woods Subdivision which is another subdivision into 33 lots. Mr. Giessen moved to approve Aiorth Olmsted Lumber addition subject town easement from the Citq along the bus garage far drainage pipe, seconded by Mr. Goggin. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. b) discussed Savings & Loan Building which is adjacent to Cleary Realty and Committee recommends appren*al. Mr. Giessen caved to approve parking sad layout of the Savings & Loan Building subject to the following iteems: 1) a satisfactory underground retentitm system; 2) speed traffic control bumps - two of them at driveway location and the location of them are subject to Building Dteparta~t approval. Giessen, Gog$in, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamcrsky. Motion carried. 7) re - Azalea - Oring Drive lot which City originally had old pumping station which is now taken off. Committees recomisands City sell the property to the best bidder. Till request legislation if we do not already have it; 8) scheduled a B.Z.& D. Committee Meeting on Novte~er 12, 1974, g:30 P.M., City Hall. 9) City is May approved the Chxgaler Car Dealership and the 15 ft. planting strip to the west of the property along the residential side of the properties. A month and one-half ago were requested by the developer through a letter that the people along that side lot wanted to maintain some lilac trees that were already there. City investigated and Cosneittee has in writing from four of the six owners that they would like the present existing tehrubbes~y left but supple- mented wh®re vacant areas are with evergree~as and/or lilacs fa the 1S ft. planting strip. Committee recomsends same. Mr. Giessen moved that Council allow the change in the planting of the ZS ft. buffer strip as per request by the adjacent residents in that area, seconded by Mr. Goggin. Affirmative vote: Giessen, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Mr. Li~ert, Chairman Pfnante Committee, reported Committee met and discussed following items: 1) sanitation t,v. unit picked up a flaw in the systems in area of punter and Deerfield Drives. Had to make emergency rtspairs in amount of $2,103. Repairs have been made and will request legislation to pay for same; 2) reviewed legislation pertaining to salary of Secretary to Boards and Planning Commissitsn. Safety Director to funish a job descriptit~ of position and this will be discussed further at next Pittance Gneasi.ttee metering; 3} discussed revising organisat~.onal chart of Treataent Plant and approval was made.
